Need advice on changing the tires on my '08 Venture. I've seen on the website that the Avon tires seem to be the best. I would like some advice on what size and series would be best. Is it true that putting a smaller tire on the front helps with handling?

Hey I need some help. I had left my key on too long unattended and my battery drained I called a friend to jump me off and while i was putting the cables on my bikes battery he was putting them on his trucks battery and guess what he crossed them up. To say the least it is now completely dead. Now I am trying to find the main fuse. Where is it? I pulled off the left cover to check fuses and it was not where the manual said it would be, it calls for a 30 amp fuse and there is not one in the fuse block.

I had to change my '99 RSV front brake discs recently and found that the right chrome disc cover has a weight in the inside. I have never really cared for the looks of the covers and was considering not putting them back on but the weight changed my mind. Does anyone know what purpose the weight serves and is it necessary?

Well I finally did it, I pulled the 1973 Kawasaki 125cc out of my mother in laws shed where it has been for the last 20 - 25 years. It is a mess but I figured I will start with the obvious and go from there. The gas tank is coated in rust on the inside and I am looking for feed back from you guys about the pros and cons of the diffrent methods. I have seen several ways of doing this including Freebirds post on Kleen. I figure either way I go I will be putting washers, chains or some other metal in there with a good spin to loosen up all the surface rust and break loose all I can before going with the chemical cleaners. Someone suggested tieing the tank in a blanket with washers in it and putting it in the dryer on NO heat for some time to get it all knocked loose. What are your thoughs on the following methods: 1. Navel Jelly 2. Kleen 3. Electrolosis If you have another idea I am all ears. I want to know which method you think is best and more importantly in my case idiot proof.

What are you folks doing for winterizing? Are you filling up the fuel tank and putting in a product like Stabil or are you draining the carbs and filling the fuel tank and putting in Stabil. Or something else?
