Been looking at the weather down there. Wanting to get around Apache Junction. Then ride bike to Sun City and all over. Night temps need to be above 55 for me. Don't have heat except space heater. What kind of wisdom can you shed on me for time of year?

well you know how there is always something wrong with a used vehicle. Well I found it finely. When you back up and give it gas you take off pretty dang fast. Kind of like o shi#. Broken motor mount. Have my 30 amp service in carpet down, bought a ramp with arch, on the outer ramps have to rase them a 2x12 thickness so old short legs can touch. here is a few pics

well got the junk out of the back. lic and insured. getting tires re[placed on back. have to figure a ramp and hold downs. That busted head light was a night mare, screws were stuck tight. Three more lights to fix. getting the itch:big-grin-emoticon:

the kick stand bolt looks like it may be worn also my 01 was making a mess it was the valve cover gaskets oil ran down block to bottom of engine. took alot to clean up that mess oil blown every where

well I went a different way bought a box truck a p30 Chevy. Have to put some interior into it. Will be basic needs tv, dorm fridge, couch or bed, carpet remnant, and power for living, take a space heater and a fan. Hauling bike with me. Have to figure a way to get it in and out. Going to new Mexico. Then riding to sun city Arizona then who knows. Hope I don't have to use a bucket. lol Maybe hook up with some of ya and ride around. Never been in that area so will do a lot of lost driving. And a little Webber grill. Will take quite a while to get there at 50 mph. Hate to admit to it but nervous.

thinking about going to new Mexico end of February. If I rent a van body truck to get me out of snows range. How far south down from iowa do I need to go to get out of snow belt. Don't want to get stranded in motel waiting on snow melt. Turn in truck and ride bike the rest of the way over. If I thought it would be nice a few days might just start out riding. This is a pipe dream but really want to do this.

Well this year was a rough one for me. Never rode much at all. Never made 800 miles. So today put bikes outside on patio so garage is useable for winter. The old 83 is out in the open air. With out the plastic on. Tried to unload it but no bites. The 01 is ready for spring. Ya right we will see. Plan on running around next year. Got back into dating, man that was rough forgot all the ins and outs. Being with the same person for 17 years new what she liked and mostly what she wanted. I'm a fish out of water. hahha. hope every one is doing good. A friend of mine told me he has cancer. From being in Vietnam and getting sprayed quite a few times. Told me he waited to long before going to dr. don't look good. Thanks to all you vets.

Well diesel engines can run injectors at 2500 psi oil pressure and fire with wire. So its already in use just not valves. All they will have to do is slow down the stroke of the valve replacement some how. I don't see why they would bother. Unless make it run on different fuels or compost. Give them something to scratch there head. Sick thought out house power.

that's very interesting and could be programmable. The only thing that would bother me is pneumatic activators. Ice in lines in winter. Would rather see hydraulic or electric activation. Would it pass emissions. Still running on dino fuel.. Very cool

well I had a 67 mustang with 289. Changed the valve angle in the heads. Took the lifters apart and filled them with the heaviest grease I could find. Rigged up a oiler line for rockers. Put a high rise and double pumper on it. It would hold 8 grand till race started. After that had to look out side windows and down to see where you were. Just had a h pipe for exhaust. What I call stock is in non molested state maybe timing set up 2 degrees. Sorry this may be off topic. but there are a few out there set in there ways or only there way is possible. block them
