  3. When I first bought my 06 I thought it handled terribly. I lowered it...front and rear and it made a huge difference. I'm thinking about putting an 18" stratoliner front wheel on it...I hear that also makes a huge difference. Low tire pressure? ****... that makes me feel like I've had a stroke or forgot how to ride. I keep it at 35 but have a very slow leak and have to check it every time I ride. Bob

  16. Hey Guys, Thanks for the replies. When I had my wing I rode with a full face and had everything hardwired with J&M. I had a Moterola Ultra Classic for a phone and had a buddy put audio in audio out jacks in the ultra classic and it was great. Now with the RSTD I wear a half helmet....sometimes a novelty bucket and don't want to deal with the coil cord. For music I'm set with the rumble road speakers.....and I'm not hot on music right into the ear....somehow I loose the "feel" of things. I don't even like them in the gym. I'm gona try a few Bluetooth ear pieces and see what happens. I once had a Jabra that was pretty good. I have to be available when someone calls and I'd love to use the bike even if only a day a week. Thanks Again Bob
  17. Yes.... I have to agree. Just struggling to find a way to use my bike on a work day. Thanks Bob
  18. hey guys, I've seen some talk about this buddy rich cable and you guys connecting your cell to the garmin and have a few questions. I have a garmin 1390 and a samsung convoy (flip phone). I play my music from an IPOD connected to some rumble road amplified speakers. Is there a way / cable to connect my nuvi and ipod together so an incoming phone call can come over my speakers? I'd have to rely on the Bluetooth mike on the Nuvi. Thanks Bob
  19. Good Luck....you'll be back up on two wheels before you know it. Coop
  20. Nice story! You and your wife are super! Bob
  21. I picked up a pair of the scorpion exo deuce pants. They look and fit awesome. Anxious to try them out in the cold tomorrow. Bob
  22. Well the hole is not where the wire exits to the bike.....just in the liner to hop over that horizontal stitch. The wire still exits the zippered pouch at the bottom of the liner. It worked out real well on last nights ride. I'll keep you guys posted.....going out tomorrow. Thanks for the input! Bob
  23. I'm gona check it out tomorrow. I didn't want a bunch of wires to get tangled in... so there all in the jacket liner and I'll have one coil cord to the bike. Once I'm unplugged I can take my out jacket off with out worrying about liners and ditto the liner. Will see it worked out well on last nights ride. Thanks for the input guys. I'm sure Buddy's knee blockers will be a big help as well. I'll keep ya posted Bob
  24. Good Luck.... Safe Home!
  25. I used my T5 Gerbings tonight. It's 38 F here and I went out for 1.5 hrs....very toasty. Could have stayed out much longer, it was just too late. I routed the wires up in the jacket from the inside left chest pocket down to the wire outlet zip. This way my controller and wiring is all in the liner. Had to put 2 small holes on the inside edge of the liner to do this. This way I only have to zip my jacket and liner down 6" and reach in to adjust. My wife will iron a patch of some sort over the area. Glad I got this stuff. Bob
