Heres another info nugget. If you are using the balance beads it i recommended you use the valve cores with the "filter" It keeps them beads from jamming up the seat when you check air pressure. but as I have found out sometimes you can get them to fit into some valve tubes. Unfortunately if you say go to check your air pressure at the hotel for the days ride, and it gets one stuck in the seat you have to put pressure in to get the bead unstuck. Want to know how I know this?

When I did the shock swap, its maybe an hour job if that.

At $80 about 2 tire changes and you paid yourself for it. I use a 2x4 turned with 4 side down and a 2x2 and break the bead that way. Then good old tire spoons.

Well I can tell you part of the story. I was a GI living smack dab in the middle of Tornado Alley in south western OK. Being of little income all I could afford was a mobile home at the time. Housing was tight, and stick house were for us out of reach financially. So a mobile home was what we had as we did not qualify for on base housing. Insurance was high, I actually think we may pay less now for a stick built CCb house in Fla with way more SQ FT. Our house was anchored with 6 or 8 large straps that went around the frame and also straps that went around the "box" of the house. I guess its all what you get use to. but then again look at the pictures from Joplin a couple years back. Sure was a lot of houses of foundation type piled up on lots too.

Depends on what someone would think a used one is worth. Much over say $150 with shipping, I think I would just pony up and buy a new Hagon. We all know the average life of one of these things is only around 40k or so. I sure would hate to drop $200+ and have it go south a few months later. Just my opinion.

Being colored it would be hard for you to match and reproduce. But a fellow with some lexan, heat and time could probably make a replacement. Try calling back and see if you can get a different person on the phone.

I put a 90 on the rear pointed to left (due to aforementioned disc) and the front has a 90 I think. The front is a 90 also. Instead of pointing it straight out to left or right it is pointed to right side, not on a 90 direct out but half way between centerline of wheel and centerline of axle. Does that make sense? If it was straight on a 90 you couldn't hardly get your nibs in there to do pressures.

So those would be the equivalent of the faux fins that cover up the leaking bugger plugs on the RSV?

Shmily: I just bought a pair of Bates with something called ICS or ISC something. Anyways its a cushion in the heal you can adjust. I like them pretty well. They are a side zipper boot, I'm not a big fan of the zipper sided boots.

No tan boots when I was in. Everything was black and polished. Well OK semi polished for us aircraft maintenance guys. But you could still tel the guys that rode. Same type marks.

GM use to have a serious problem with the "extra" ground at the headlights. Came off the headlight harness and went up to the fender. Dont know if the newer cars are that way.

MARCARL, yup they work on high beam. Thats how mine was wired in, thru the high beam. Funny with the halogen headlight I ran high beam in daylight. With the HID I have not even thought about it.

A buddy of mine @ work was telling me about a scheme the gov had on banking. The gov is wants to attach a "fee/tax" to electronic banking. So not only can they track your cash/checks but your e-deposits credit card transactions and even pay pal, and tax you on it. So not only will you pay income tax on your pay check, they will charge you to deposit your own money in your bank. On the health care side, every time I call the VA for something I get a 5 min recording of if this is an emergency call 911, if your thinking of hurting yourself blah blah. I pretty much have closed my ears until I hear a person pick up. Funny, dont think of hurting myself until I hear all the scrabble about numbers and option shave changed and then spend 10 min on hold. LOL

Yup thats what I had originally. Something like a PAR 36 bulb GE#4411. I switched to something like these. So now these are the bulbs I have in the Adjure lights.

I think I was on a guberment list way before 94. It was called active duty military. Funny they could have me or anybody else for that matter, on a "gang list" and be active duty. Wouldn't you think that would set off some lights somewhere?? I would think the possibilities of someone with a heritage softail would have better chance of being acquainted with a gang than someone with say an 88 Venture. Well except maybe Puc.

Yea I did think of the higher idle thing. I do have additional lights, but all are LED run/signal lights. I did rev the motor a little maybe 2-300 rpm and still had same results. Next time I have it out I'll act like a snow bird, and leave the left turn signal on for awhile whilst riding down the road.

dingy, what if you ad a touch of vinegar to your baking soda. then it foams and should remove the green slime. then rinse with some clear water, let dry and apply dielectric grease.

I'll be dipped. I thought I had read a copy of that law way back when I put mine together and it just said had to not be operated in hours of darkness. Oh well I never got in trouble, and I think as long as you use your head the EYE is not needed. imop

I was at the stop light today, and as it was overcast I noticed something. The neutral light and cruise on lig3ht seemed to kind of flash along with the turn signal. Not copletly like the signal indicator does but enough to notice. I'm kind of leaning towards the idea its a ground in the signal sockets. What do you all think? Am I thinking the right way here?

Loved that show. Now thats one I would like to see them remake now if they did it rite.

Depends on what you have. My lights have instead of a "bulb" its a housing that looks like the bulb, then in back you install the actual bulb. I dont know what they actually call them. Mine are made by adjure I think the company is.
