  1. That's not the link that Bill4you posted.
  2. I'm a glutton for punishment. That's funny coming from you.... a guy with a second gen that falls off going 2 feet per hour! :rotf: You musta fallen down and bumped your head right before the temps hit 110* down there in Az. Why else would anyone of sound mind ride an antique that you gotta make your own parts for?
  3. Now there's a first! Trial members can post at will, what they gonna do? punish him by making him a full member! I'm not gonna piss him off, he'll poison me at his bbq if I do. So that's what that wet spot was! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  4. I just paid my $12 for another twelve months of abuse. BRING IT ON !
  5. Looks like I'll be making that ride by myself I thought this was the Venture Riders forum, not the Chicken Coop
  6. Ace High leather, Nancy is a forum sponsor/vendor and does real nice work.
  7. Ten years after, Black Sabbath, Grand Funk, Stooges, Zappa, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple.................
  8. In A Gadda Da Vida, voodoo chile, red house.... so many come to mind I could type all night
  9. ABSOLUTELY I would ride it on 2 wheels, looks like quite the adventure. I'd feel safer on 2 than 4.
  10. When my wife had her ACE 750 I ran Castrol Actevo 10-40 semi synthetic oil in it, the bike ran good, shifted smooth and no clutch slippage. As for the air filter, K&N is a good filter when used properly. Your statement about the cement factory tells me there's lots of fine dust and that is a concern, if I were you, I'd also run a pre-filter on the K&N. K&N's filter better as they collect dirt, a fresh one will allow some fine particles to enter the engine until they get a little dirty, that's why my dune buggies all ran pre-filters, they stop the finer dirt and dust. If you can't run a pre-filter I'd go with a paper filter. Take a look at THIS link, it shows the pre-filters.
  11. That tool only works close up, I prefer a tool that works at a bit longer distances Here in Michigan, it's the same penalty as if you're carrying a gun, so you may as well carry the more effective & versatile weapon.
  12. Safe travels and bring home a Tee shirt
  13. Sorry to here that the ladies have to work tell them we will miss them.
  14. I've done a few and like has been said, it's an easy job to do. The hardest part of the whole procedure is cleaning the tools when you're done.
  15. A hooker woulda been cheaper ! :mo money:
  16. But it's PURPLE !!! :rotfl:
  17. Tents are welcome, we'll find ya a spot. I thought you were on the other side of the country not the state! Come early, stay late. Glad to have ya. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  18. Time for another party! I just posted in Meets & Eats. Have a look, join us if you dare. July 19th West Bloomfield, Michigan
  19. +1 on the Carbon One lift adapter. Makes lifting the RSV easy & safe.
  20. No tricks, pretty straight forward. I reused the donuts. If the muffler is stubborn a rubber strap wrench comes in handy to twist and loosen the slipon mufflers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  21. My condolences on your loss, it served you well so it deserves a respectable burial. I used a dab of moly grease, I suppose lithium would also work well, you just don't want it to melt off with the engine heat
  22. If you'd have read what I posted earlier you'd have seen that I did mention that NOW.... go fix your refrigerator
  23. Also look at the rubber dust boots on each end of the shift rod, they dry out and crack, nows a good time to do those too. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
