  1. We left the house this morning to go for a ride, we stopped a the diner at the 4 way stop in Pumpkintown, SC. for some breakfast. While at the table a gentleman walks up asking who owned the Venture parked out front, I fessed up to owning it. He says "I used to own one, it was the most comfortable bike I ever owned. He then to my surprise asks who did your diamond cut fins, Mike? Yes I said, he then asks about Skid, I looked at him and asked how he knew all these names to which he replied I used to belong to a group called VentureRider! I said I still am. So he says hello from Blue Mountain Jim, to all . Eh! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  4. Grab a room in Waynesville, NC. from there head south on NC 215, run it down to the BRP, make a right onto the parkway and run it back into Waynesville. Many nice forest, river and mountain vistas to stop and see. Spend another day or week doing a waterfall tour. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  5. The weights do help to dampen hand numbing handlebar vibrations. You can also insert a handlebar snake, they are usually made with lead shot in a fabric sleeve to further dampen vibration. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Last time I did this I used RTV silicone to seal the halfmoon area on each end of the head and after several years it was leaking again. Idon't have any RTV on Hand, but I do have a tube of Yamabond 4 semi drying liquid gasket, will the yamabond 4 work with the new rubber gasket?

  20. It's pulled loose from the mounting plate and pieces of the plastic housing that secure the screw ferrels are gone. I think it was caused by brake fluid that splashed on it while bleeding the clutch several years ago. I'm trying to repair it again, but eventually I'm going to need a new housing or a complete remote. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
