When I was a kid my cousin and I were diving into a swamp trying to catch turtles, we both ended up with poison oak from head to toe. I was so swollen from it my face looked like a beach all. I was in misery for almost a month.
There is knurling but I'm not to concerned about an exact duplicate, a texture like what's in the center of the phone holder would be fine but you're welcome to try some different techniques. They are 357 cal and can be interesting to shoot [emoji12]
I have a Derringer with plastic grips that are cracked, if I were to send the grips to you do you think you could duplicate them? I need 4 pair, 1 for myself and the other 3 for friends with the same one.
I am a school employee and am not sure I could do a week in October AND a week in November to fill the freezer with venison. I'd sure give it a try though.
The lower clamp bolts are exposed, it's the upper one's that require a lot of work to inspect.
While you're inspecting, be sure to check the torx bolts that attach the driveshaft to the rear end, they are known to loosen and fall out.
Let me toss this one out there. I've seen there is a Cruise ship company that offers cruise/ride vacations where you take your motorcycle and ride at the various ports of call. Planning would be easy because the cruise company does most of it.
The concern with having it in gear is that the pistons may move slightly up & down wearing the cylinder walls, once the oil is gone there's the risk of breaking a ring, ring land or cylinder wall scoring. Myself I think it's a low risk unless you're towing it for 10's Of thousands of miles.
That SUCKS big time !I have a friend with a 26 letter polish name, they stole his info and a big black guy was caught on film using his cards, all the way on the other coast, but not before he charged over 20K to his card.
A big pain getting it all straightened out just so they could do it to him again.
Good luck.
Had the same thing happen to me only it was the rear stem that let go. I now only use the steel stems and they get changed with each new tire. Cheap insurance.
That's the tool pictured, Gary's tool works great and is well made. To use it properly it should be put on the torque wrench at 90° to the torque wrench handle.
The curvature of the old lenses would need to be close to that of the goggles. Ask the doc before you buy the goggles. If it's not possible, you could always just tape the old lenses to your face
I had 3 rooms booked at Ben's Nichol Brook motel and 1 of the folks I booked for just backed out, I'll be canceling the 1 room, anyone interested in it ?
Geez Brad! Relived to hear that Lonna and you are ok. Bummer about the bike, but I know you'll have that fixed up soon enough.
Let's hope it's a lesson that young girl won't forget.
To do it by the book you need to pull the inner and outer fairing, handle bars and top clamp to get to the nuts to adjust the neck bearings. A special tool is needed to properly set the torque. YES you need to remove the tanged washer that locks the two nuts together, set torque then replace.
I've done those rides quite a few times and never get tired of it. Fantastic roads and scenery that I'll no doubt go back and see again. We were there last month and threw in Glacier NP and Lolo pass / Hells Canyon rd. in Idaho. Also must ride trips.
