  1. Hoping we get to see you again.
  2. Hello Dave: The 12V accessory plug that I installed is simply attached to the handlebars on the LH side with a Velcro tyrap. I purchased an Otterbox handle bar mount for my cell phone and also mounted it on the LH side also. Hope this helps?
  3. WOW!!!!!
  4. Interesting Read. Thannks for sharing.
  5. Thanks for sharing. I too have discovered some of the same issues you have in regards to the lift being narrow and also having issues getting the bike back out of the chock when finished. I like the wooden side extentions that you put on your lift. Your safety suggestions are also very helpful. It made me a little nervous when I first started using the lift table. However having the bike raised up makes some functions so much nicer, sure beats bending over or laying on the ground.
  6. Congrats! Best wishes from Lee and I...
  7. Welcome to the site. Best $12 you have ever spent. Try relisting your item now.
  8. Sorry to hear that. Good luck Annie.
  9. I hope you enjoy your new ride! I sure like my Tour Deluxe.
  10. I also modified Graderman46's lift exactly like Lonestarmedic did!!!
  11. Lots of good replies and and some funny reading on this one! If you really do not like crowds and are also interested in riding to the attractions then I would suggest NOT coming during rally week. We live close (4 hours) and went several years in a row the week before the rally. Stayed in Custer. Rode a bunch. Only went to Sturgis one day, toured the vendors and returned to Custer before DARK!! The past two years we have went during rally week. Stayed with friends in Sturgis. Rode less. Able to enjoy some alchohol and not have to ride. Actually had a blast just people watching. Another option might be travel in the motorhome to our area. You are welcome to leave the motorhome here and ride on up to Sturgis.
  12. Hello Lynn: BJ hit on most of the well known tourist attractions. If you like pie and ice cream? Check out the Purple Pie Place in Custer SD. Keep us posted on your itinerary. Maybe we can meet up?
  13. RSVP today. Thanks for the reminder.
  14. Hello: Fellow member, close friend and riding buddy Graderman46 purchased a HF lift table a year ago. He was soon moving so he dropped it off at my work place. I have used it a few times. Most of the time it stays cranked up and is used as a workbench. Hoping we can get together in the early spring work on our bikes.
  15. Sounded like fun! Thanks for sharing.
  16. Thanks for the info and testimonial on Wide Open Customs. Patrolman46 and I looked at their product at Sturgis. Giving it some consideration for our RSTD bikes also.
  17. Hello: The snow missed us. We only got a skiff driven by 50 mph winds. Tumble weeds blown in are taller than the screen door! In my opinion we were lucky since the winds were so strong. Those tyes of storms are simply nuisance storms and usually do more harm than good. Hoping for a rainy spring.
  18. Wow, what an opportunity. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Good Morning: 7:00 A.M. High winds and some snow arrived during the night. But it looks like the heavy snow missed Scottsbluff so far. I am on call this weekend so, I stayed in town at my employers new corporate apartment. Nice basement apartment, quiet and warm but no windows. Like living in a bunker.
  20. Hello BJ: 9:30 PM and only a few furries so far. Staying in town as a precaution. I am on call this weekend and need to be able to get to my office if the need arises. I will update you in the morning.
  21. Me too!!! More and more every winter. Blizzard forecasted here later today. Nice so far?? I hope I live long enough to retire and become a snowbird!!!!!!
  22. Hello Everyone: Mild winter again so far this year. Managed to get in 100 mile ride yesterday. Blizzard warning later today for the remainder of the weekend. Snow and 50 mph winds forecasted. I checked propane and brought the John Deere 4230 from town back out to the farm yesterday. Checking the generator and snowblower this morning just in case. Prepairing for the worst hoping for the best.
  23. Hello Annie: Good to hear that. Hope they get it fixed quickly. Looking forward to seeing you in Galena.
  24. Good luck with your repairs. Keep us posted.
