  4. Ok. Thanks guys. I have not bought from Ebay. Can't get to it from the station computer anyways. Kevin

  6. I bought 2 helmets at a garage sale last weekend. Don't remember what kind of headsets they are, but does anyone have a diagram that I can get and wire these up so I can talk to the wife while riding without screaming? Kevin

  8. OK I bypassed the sensor with the 2.2 ohm resistor. Instead of hooking to the acc. wire, I hooked a conector to the wire and mounted it under the screw that went to the fuse that I was supposed to solder to. Is this OK? Kevin

  10. Hey lonestarmedic, would you also offer that resolder job to a fellow FF from Oklahoma? I seem not to be able to fix mine. I would also be willing to pay you for your services. Thanks, Kevin

  12. Can I leave the sensor on, and solder a resistor on to it? I would like to be able to go back to original when I replace this battery.
  13. Does the sensor have to have voltage running through it?
  14. I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone that has put information on this website. Without it, I don't know if I would have been able to get the foks back on my '87 VR. I took it apart about 6-7 weeks ago and dropped the forks off to have new seals installed and put in the new Progressives while it was apart. I can just about fix anything, but when your memory has nothing to recall from past experiences..it makes it kinda hard. With all of the fixes that everyone has done and all of the pictures, I have finally gotten it back together and had my first ride in a very long year. Thanks again for all the help. Kevin
  15. I got mine in mid August and just got them on this week. They are the best thing for a slow cranking engine!! Way to go Paul!! Kevin:bowdown:
