  1. I have ran Avons for the last two tire changes and got 12000 to 15000 out of them, and this set is worn out and ready to be replaced. While doing some cleaning this weekend I found a void in the rear Avon, just beneath the surfuce of the rubber. It's a round void, about 3/8 ths of an inch across, and not sure how deep. The Avons have been good tires, but I am going to try the Elite 3's this time.
  2. Thanks. I appreciate the insights. I do not want to hear the sound on the scooter falling inside the trailer, that would be a bad thing. Thanks again
  3. MikeWa: I have not trailered the venture before, and am thinking about a trailer like yours. How do you strap yours down in the trailer? Seems like common sense, but any advice you would like to share? Thanks
  4. They just stuck right back on, no problem, at least this time. Hope the fronts sound better when I change them this week, the new Polks in the rear did not make a great deal of difference.
  5. The parts layout sure helped. Thanks again.
  6. I looked at the other posts earlier with a search but could not find the info I remember seeing sometime before. I had forgot about the hair dryer trick though and now that rings a bell. Now if I can keep from scratching things up.... Thanks again,
  7. I seem to remember a post about pulling off the black adhesive strips on the rear armrests to get to the screws that hold the rear pods together. Is this the way to get to the speakers or do I start by removing the screws in the trunk to remove the pods? Thanks in advance,
  8. Hey Cougar. Thanks for the input on the speakers. I recieved the new Polks and the baffles yesterday and the bass blockers today. Looks like a garage day or two in the next week installing the speakers, tach, new plugs, stebel horn..... Have Fun
  9. Sooo...... How do they sound? I end up with the volume at about 20-23 when out on the road with the stock speakers. Do they give more volume at a lower setting and/or just sound better? Thanks,,
  10. Thanks for the info Kitesquid. I like fast, easy upgrades. Have fun.
  11. I just saw this thread and was wondering how the PIAA's for the headlight are working out for you. I also need a little more light at night and would rather change the headlight bulb instead of adding additional lighting. And also, is the PIAA brighter in the daytime to stand out in the traffic? Thanks in advance
  12. Great. If you don't mind we might give you a call for some advice when we are up looking in Oct. We will be there from the 6th till the 12th. It's getting way to crowded here where we live. Need to find some space and a change of seasons again.
  13. Looks like some fun riding. We are going to Crossville in the truck to look for some property in Oct. Won't be as much fun in the truck but looking forward to seeing some hills.
