  1. Micarl that's funny because that is what I ordered and was under the impression I was going to get both tools. They sent me only the one on the left the flat K&L tool and I have no idea if that's going to work or not. Think I've came to the conclusion that Yamaha has stopped making the J tool, part number MY-33961 I ordered that tool (MY-33961) on two different sites and both cancel my orders and told me that tool has been discontinued.
  2. I allso see on there sight that the tool is not compatible with my 2002 XVZ13TF
  3. Thanks everyone we did check out the site Frank mentioned above... I'm not sure that it will work because it has a different Yamaha part number.. but I may take that chance and ordered it anyways it does look the same I don't quite understand why the Yamaha part number is different. The Yamaha part number in the book is YM-33961 the one on the site Yamaha part number is.. Yamaha VMAX XVZ12 XVZ13 Venture V-MAX Valve Shim Tool YM-04105 .. but they do look the same.
  4. This is Al Bates Toms brother. We are having a very difficult time locating a Yamaha Valve adjusting tool part number YM-33961 we have placed two separate orders and both orders had cancelled. If anyone has one laying around in there tool box and would like to sell it or lend it to us we would greatly appreciate it, please send us a p.m. Thank You Al... Tom Bates
  5. I appreciate the info and I'm going to check the voltage thanks again your information is very useful .
  6. It only runs down when I'm riding it I can let it set for a week after charging the battery and it will start right up. If I ride it for like 50 miles it will run the battery all the way down tell there's nothing left in the battery .
  7. I have a venture 2004 50,000 miles when I run my bike my lights radio everything works just fine but after a while my battery runs all the way down I replace the battery twice and I'm still having the same problem it's like my battery is not taking a charge from the bike I wire brush the terminals and the connections are good and the fuses is good .Can anybody please help me with this problem.
  8. I have running lights on my 2004 RSV I damage the ring that goes around the light that holds it together. Does any body have one that I could buy here are some pictures of what I need or do you know were I can get one.
  9. Happens all the time. Put a tie-down strip around the tire, ratchet it tight. Insert air. Works every time for me. Sounds like they don't know what they are doing. Al Bates
  10. Don I just bought two bells send you the money PayPal. Thanks for the e-mail and the bells Tom Bates
  11. I just replaced my tires 3 thousand miles ago and that made a world of difference from the original one. Thomas
  12. I have a 2004 RSV with 11,000 miles on it. It feels like I am getting some play in my steering. Have anybody had this problem with their RSV. Thomas
