  1. Love ya Rocket wish I could save you some chili and rolls but perhaps next year. Be safe my friend
  2. Those are Minn rules. Don't pertain to me here. And beings I'll be traveling into Minn, I claim political immunity from all charges. Decisions, decisions, caramel glazed or frosted. Kind of like 2 choices of chili to choose from to decide a winner.... decisions, decisions
  3. 50 cinnamon rolls into the freezer. Will be at the chili dinner Friday night. Along with rolls, JoDee made zucchini bread. Hey Russ, you remember JoDee's zucchini bread from a couple years back don't ya? Sarge, can ya smell them clear up there???? And yes, pics included
  4. Yea like it was tasting glue you really did in school???? Really???? Anybody here buy THAT one? Sniff Sniff .... :rotf:And yes Sarge, I meant 1 PAN... yep, thats what I meant. Still got your vote right?
  5. Oh I'll be there. I can't let Owl continue his ranting about his chili without a challenge. Talked with my bride and she's making up cinnamon rolls to go along with my chili. She'll be caging it up after we get off duty in the truck. Almost tempting to trailer bike up so we can take turns napping but my names not Russ (wish I could use photoshop and have feathers flying out cage window) and my bike see's the road . It appears when she's came along in the past we've blown past antique shops and this time she isn't going to pass them up
  6. Charlie, youve been here as long as I have and have read MANY of your submissions, and it's unfortunate your riding days are pretty well done. I think we all understand your predicament and know one day we'll be in your shoes. Coming to rallys, gatherings etc... don't have to be on a bike to still get together. So with that said, I'll look forward to seeing you in the future at one of those. Will continue to read your postings and please know you'll always be an integral part of our family. God Bless. Mike
  7. Going to wear a leather mini skirt? Gary have enough water to wash everyones eyes after seeing THAT. Bad enough we'll all be washing our brains trying to get that visual out of our heads. But I see your game plan now.... give them one sight of that, switch your chili for mine and take credit for the much better (mine of course) one.
  8. If JoDee has time to make them which she's already planning to, there will be at least 1 there for ya.
  9. Thats not saying much for your chili Russ. If mines bad yours must be worse if the next best thing is hog... OK the hog is good I wont deny that
  10. Have just been informed that time permitting, my much better half will be baking homemade cinnamon rolls. Now I'm not one who tries to persuade the judges, but my chili will be accompanied with them and Owls won't. You make the call
  11. Nice way to get to know folks. Put together an International Rally. Piece of cake If this ends up out east, I'll make my vacation accordingly. Going around the Great lakes next year and will try and time it so be able to attend.
  12. oh wait, how did dinosaur taste? muahahaha
  13. giving away trade secrets? That's OK because I have my main ingredients lined up and will have it simmering early to bring out the taste. Now if your chili is half as good as your smack talk , it just might stand a chance of being half as good as my chili.
  14. 3 more days and the 4th day waking up to go to PIP. I hear it all the time in the prison lol
  15. Lucky dogs. Mine needed replacing about a year ago. Been waiting to find one that holds up like these seem to do.
  16. They do make them for RSV, just not the RSTD grrrrr http://www.f4customs.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=GLNTD-HVN57KAPANP&Category_Code=YRSV
  17. Wish they made one for the RSTD. These are the kind of comments that will bring in customers and I'd be one if they made one to fit mine:confused24:
  18. Heh Sarge, you bringing that purty wife of yours again? Sure would like to see her. Guess you could come along too if you HAVE to My bride and I are planning on leaving here Friday morning after shift. Gonna be a longgggg ride w/o sleep. She's driving the truck up and I'm riding the scoot. Guess she's planning on doing some antique shopping and needed the extra space to haul it in.... I suppose I could trailer bike up but it just don't look right up there without HD written on the side I'll save some of my winning chili for you and your bride. Owl will have more left because mine will be better but thats another story.
  19. Annie, you coming to Pork in the Pines? Would love to meet you.
  20. Welcome to Ventureriders, You won't find a better group of folks anywhere and well worth the 12.00 just for the information you can gain from tech support. I agree, Harley has MANY aftermarket parts that are very good looking. If I remember right, the Road Kings rear fender is somewhat close to a 2nd Gen but don't quote me on that. Been awhile since I really looked at one. Be interesting to see what you end up doing though. If you do adapt something please post pics. Would love to get an idea what it would look like.
  21. Looks like I know what I'll be doing this weekend grrrrrr Thanks for the responses. God Bless. Mike
  22. Not bike related but no where else to turn that I trust. I've had my 2004 Grand Am in garage 3 times for slow leak. Was told it's because of the alloy wheels being damaged/corroded. Can I put innertubes in these? New wheels are too dang expensive to contemplate right now. Thanks and God Bless. Mike
  23. Or he figured his chili was fueling enough for all the bikes???? Nice Russ, mental note to self, ride UPWIND from Russ
