  1. Going to take bike in to get new tires put on the Monday of the 22 this month. Taking to Performance Cycle in Cambridge Ontario where I've gone before. Got a few estimates (3--2 in town where I live)First was $695 + tax, the second was $750 tax in and the last was $600. Going with Performance because been there before and they had a mechanic that usually works on Ventures!
  2. Just received the bell and patches around noon! Thanks again!!!!
  3. Very nice!!!! Hope she enjoys it along side you!!!
  4. Thanks all for this!!
  5. Hoping for speedy recovery!!!
  6. Hope things are working for you both!!
  7. Congrats to @ragtop69gs!!
  8. Hopefully things go well!
  9. @Freebirdthank you for that picture! Looks like it could be a nice addition!!
  10. @ascaife01 I'm pretty sure it is an old Cotes model I bought at a swap meet! I have one on each of my 2 lawn tractors as shown in pictures. Have tried to find them at different stores but don't see them around (yellow, green and red but not blue)unless from a jobber shop but WAY out of what I can afford!
  11. I find a lot of things on Facebook that are probably scams. I think I've seen at least 3 or 4 tire changers way to low in price. Also bike movers(dollies) tables and add on's. You would think(yeh right) that they would try to keep scammers off or at least put something on to designate true sites!
  12. I was wondering if you could post picture of item please as I would like in on this! I have my 2012 Venture with 124727klms(77501.7miles) which I bought brand new and have driven it with great pride these many years . Drove it daily to work everyday (rain or shine from late March till snow stopped me,even during winter on good dry days) until retiring in 2020 because of health reasons (diagnosed with Diabetes) (also had 2 months short of 30 years). Ride it as much as I can except right now needs rear tire. Have gone out a few times still when dry just to keep my sanity in check!! Would have liked something newer but when retired wife showed up to show me what car she would like for my retirement present!!! So I will be driving my last(do not mind at all) for as long as I am around and maybe convert to keep going if I can! Not very lucky at draws so here goes!!!!(if I was I would have won SOMETHING by now!!)
  13. First picture: bent bar on right goes thru body where deck raise was and connects with rod inside then out to a set up that when you pull back it rotates bar then lift blade which is mounted to frame ahead of rear tires. Bar next to bent bar and beside hood is mounted to frame with threaded rod thru body to blade with eyelets which when pulled to back it rotates blade to left then when pushed back forwards it rotates to right. If you blow up 3rd pic. you should be able to see where it pushes back then pivots blade to go up.Rod on left fender is for forward and reverse There is a cable under seat that I pull to lift eye bolt up to let blade swing either way. Works much better in reverse than forward as it can turn sharper onto sidewalk instead of back and forth to line up when going forward similar to driving tow motor.
