I tried both and Forum Runner is similar in its ease of use. The promotional material claimed it was more efficient for use on our smart phones. Don't know if that is true.

Was thinking of you today Scott as we rode home on the last day of our Venture East ride so your post is appreciated. Hope the recovery goes well my friend. if you are up to it, I will come visit later this week or early next week.

I have read all of the posts. They speak volumes about Don and I want to add my own tribute to a good man who I was also fortunate to meet at MD.

After making our past Venture West trip and 12 days into our current Venture East, our 88VR has now taken us from Canadian coast to coast and my wife has now dipped her toes into both oceans. The pic shows her in the Atlantic Ocean along Nova Scotia's Cabot Trail, and yes, she is wearing her Frogg Togg rain suit. Sounds great Gary. Hard to not enjoy a show like that. Anne and I were really revved up on music from our younger years when we spent a day at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on our way to Maintenance Day.

Today on our Venture East trip we spent some time at Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory in Vermont. It is an amazing facility as some of these pictures might show. Plus, their ice cream is as good as it gets. In case your are wondering, 2 of the pictures are from their "flavour graveyard" which is a real hoot. Another shows the back of the factory where their huge tanks for milk and cream and sugar are located. There is also a huge gift shop and they give tours of their factory. It is such a large and busy place that they have three large parking areas, one for buses that bring ice cream lovers to spend time there.

Thanks to all who provided comments here and in PM's. For those who recommended the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon just off 6, I can testify that it is definitely a must see for those riding in the area. We are now in NYS on 30 heading towards Lake Placid area - more amazing roads!! Today in Honsdale PA, I toured by far the largest and most amazing bike shop called Rusty Palmers, with Yamaha topping the list of bikes it sells. Several pics of the place are in our blog post today. Appropriate for its grandiose size and decor, the ceiling fan is a helicopter blade.
