  1. If you are interested in the DN-01, but would like maybe a bit more motor and some storage not to mention a far mor reasonable price, check this out http://www.aprilia.com/en-US/Model/640/MANA+850+abs/Overview.aspx and http://www.fullthrottlemotorsports.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=01370508X12K9K2008J6I04I46JPMQ322R0&veh=100229&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2009 Hint: The gas tank ISN'T!!!!! Kinda Cool! ABS available this year, too!!
  2. Try this, http://www.sierra-mc.com/proddetail.asp?prod=AO%2DGL12%2DANT I know it says for Gold Wing, but it's the right one.......anyway it went right on an '87!
  3. I just tripped across this in my web travels......neat idea, tho somewhat pricey! Mufflers have a "butterfly" in them......can electrically switch from quiet to loud depending on your mood and/or location! Sorry first genners, they fit second gen only! http://www.peacemakersexhausts.com/images/N41310_XVZ1300TF.jpg http://shop.nationalcycle.com/perl/cycle/nresults2.html?search_model=ym-082

  5. Thanks for the quick replies all!
  6. Do the case guards from a 83-85 fit the 86-93? I know this is really a tech ? but figured I'd get a faster response here! Thanks, Tim
  7. I have a similar one, 75000 btu model, believe they are sort of generic.....seen same furnace under many names.... had it about 7 yrs., been excellent, no complaints. Bought mine at Home Depot, but they don't carry them anymore.....have seen them this year at Menards, if pricing is close you'd save a lot on shipping. -Tim
  8. Easiest way I've found to get the 1800 up on centerstand is either a board (as you've discovered) but easier is just crank the pre load up to 25, lifting the bike a bit higher. BTW, did you do a FACTORY cb for $350? I'd sure like to know how.
  9. Charlie- That'd be cool.....only other place I knew of was Big Bike Parts, and I think that's about what I paid for mine........but when I went to buy one for my son for Christmas they had discontinued it, and ALL 1st gen parts. I even wrote them and asked if maybe they had one on a dusty shelf somewhere, or if they were the manufacturer, and if not could they put me in touch with them. They replied that they had none......and that they were the manufacturer.....hmmmmm. That being said, if you know another source at the $49 level, I'm sure many would appreciate it, as I would have were it not too late.......
  10. Just thought I'd toss this out there as since Big Bike Parts dropped them I had a heckofa time finding this....a "must have" farkle! http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/tf-Browse/s-10101/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2003561/p-2003561/N-111+10211+600014777/c-10111
  11. :clap2:So are you lovin' it? If so, just wait till that lil puppy breaks in a bit! Man, you're makin my PMS kick into high gear.......only thing I'm driving lately is the #@&%*! SNOW BLOWER!!!!!
  12. Did anybody but me notice that one of the big problems they identified was the lack of a motorcyclist's ability to stop in time when a car TURNS LEFT IN FRONT OF THEM??????????? Now this is the biker's fault also? Can't believe they wrote that with a straight face!
  13. It was great to deal and chat with you and Nance, and did you get a great day for a long ride or what? Did Nance have to pry you off of the bike forcibly when you got home?????? Well, we look forward to seeing you in the future. For anyone interested, yes I sold my '92 and went to the dark dark side, '02 Wing (ducks). Tim
