  1. I have an 05 Midnight, RSV, is it common for the headlight assembly to move back when pushed from the front. I pushed it while cleaning it and waxing the bike and was told it is on a spring ? Wondering if thats what it is or is it missing a bolt ?
  2. Its another scam, dont even answer , if you do they have your e-mail and know they have a live wire to play with... just delete it and move on.. these scams come in daily from all over the world. ! Mainly Africa- Nigeria area. Never ever reply!
  3. Just brought the bike ( 05 RSV) down from Jasper/ Canton Georgia area. When it arrived via trailer, it would not stay running. Choke had to be out to even keep it running. Towed to Yamaha Shop in Davie Fl, Broward Motorsports... after telling me it was the carbs... I had them cleaned, and new plugs...$ 634.00 dollars later the bike had the same problem another time after riding only 15 miles. They synced the carbs.. AND it apperas its running fine TODAY.. anyone else have this problem? Should this be a warranty issue? Seems like they should have used "vaseline" first! Not very happy right now!
  4. I recently had my bike towed down from Georgia to Florida. When it arrived the gas was not shut off and it ran terrible. The choke had to be open slightly to even get it running. Tech looked at bike... found battery cables loose but said all carbs needed cleaning and spark plugs replaced. I have 11,000.00 miles on bike... never had this problem before always ran great. Also Yamaha Tech charged $100.00 hr to fix carbs... whats your take on this ? Any suggestions about gas/ carbs ?

    Tires

I was talking with someone about my 2005 RSV which I think is top heavy, (love the bike)and they told me that if I was to change the front tire to a smaller size it would handle better. Can someone give me some info on this subject. Thanks !
  6. I have had mine since new... over 11000 miles. Put BUBS pipes, chrome luggage rack,LED lights ..with a lot of other things on bike. The only problem I have had was the radio cut out several times. It looks like a wire was pinched but was fixed. I love the bike, and all the extras... only small problem is a little top heavy in traffic. I also was looking at Harley Ultra Classic with everything..they wanted about $ 23000.00.. I only paid about 17000.00 with all the extras. Be safe !
