  1. Good to see you again Cindy. We've missed you around here.
  2. I took advantage of that same offer for my 665. I think it was a good deal.
  3. Almost. I plan to draw a winner this weekend. Saturday or Sunday. Still time to get in folks.
  4. I think our feathered friend is pulling our leg. Everybody has heard of Bob Seger. I KNOW you've heard his songs. Heck...ever seen a Chevy Truck commercial "Like a Rock".
  5. This will work. http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.html
  6. We may not be right...but we are NEVER wrong.
  7. Absolutely one of my favorites. Would have love to have been there.
  8. I've got my wife's Garmin NUVI and it says that I'm right here.
  9. LOL...I'm not lost. I know exactly where I am. Don't know why you couldn't reply to the PM...never seen that happen before.
  10. They have a different one for the 7 pin. This one does require some wiring but it is for the 5 pin setup. Here is what they say: Once installed, the included female headset pig-tail jack with dust-cover, will accept either this specific J&M CB hand mike, OR the standard 5-pin lower cord connection from a J&M, Honda or other brand compatible helmet headset.
  11. J&M makes one that should work. Sierra sells it and it's not cheap, about $100.00. They are great to deal with but you should give them a call and ask them if it will work on the Venture. http://www.sierra-mc.com/proddetail.asp?prod=JM-CBHM-GL1815
  12. Fast service too. I boxed my 665 up and mailed it to Garmin on Friday. I got an email from them yesterday telling me that they had received it and that I should get the replacement in 10 to 14 days. Now one day later and I got another email telling me that the replacement has shipped.
  13. A custom seat may be the only option. I have a Corbin on mine and it sits you back further. Some love the Corbin and others hate it though. They are a hard seat and take several thousand miles to get broken in.
  14. Trailer tags are required in Ohio and I do have them. They will stop you here. Now I understand that if you are from a state that does not require them, you are ok when traveling through other states but if they stop you and see that you are from a state that requires tags, they will cite you.
  15. Well, most of the Harley pumps that I have seen are actually made by progressive but I don't know exactly what you have. Perhaps it is just worn out.
  16. You say you've had them rebuilt but what did that include? Did you actually replace the springs? If not, they almost certainly need replacing.
  17. What kind of suspension pump do you have? Most of us use the "Progressive" brand pump and it has a zero loss chuck. If that is what you have, you should not be losing much, if any, air when you remove it.
  18. My rule of thumb, and others here will have differing opinions, is 3,000 miles with regular oil and 5,000 with synthetic. Now if you don't ride that many miles, I would say twice per year.
  19. Friday it was 86 F here. Yesterday it snowed for a couple of hours in the morning. Today I mowed the yard. Mother Nature has a warped sense of humor.
  20. OK folks...let's give this about another week. Sometime next weekend I will draw a winner. So if you haven't done so, you better post to this thread if you want your name in the hat.
  21. That turned out really well. Nice job. MUCH cheaper than buying it all from Yamaha.
  22. It really should have been posted in the classifieds but I let it go. When I saw that you had a response and they were given away, I deleted it. I saw no reason to keep it there after it had served its purpose.
  23. You would be amazed at how often things change. I travel weekly and use the GPS in my company car also. There have been many times that due to road construction that things have changed. Also, I've run into a lot of times that exits are re-numbered. It's not only the roads that can change but also points of interest, gas stations, places to eat, etc.
  24. Just had to post my kudos to Garmin for their excellent customer/product support. The power button on my Zumo 665 stopped working a few weeks ago. I don't remember when I bought this thing but it has been several years ago. I called today to see what it would take to get it repaired. They looked up my account and told me that the warranty was expired but as a one time courtesy, they were going to take care of it anyway. I am boxing it up to send back and he said that they would get a new one right out to me. There are still some companies out there who know how to and are willing to take care of their customers.
  25. Very nice. The picture could be a bit bigger to really show it off though.
