I'm sorry it upset you but I've been asking for three years that people not post for-sale ads in the watering hole.
(Spelling error corrected by Eck - Had to try to bail you out boss..)
Bike did great? Got to make a couple of changes like we always do. Handlebars don't work for me. Need more pullback. Trunk needs to go back a couple of inches. Minor things. Both saddlebag lids are now scuffed from a cup holder on one side and a pouch on the other. If they won't buff out, I'll put leather covers on them. Was going to anyway.

My Edset cords came yesterday so I'm OK now.
As for pulling a trailer? It's pretty much the same as the Venture. Yamaha really doesn't recommend pulling a trailer either but some dealers look the other way. Harley is the same way. I talked to the dealer about it yesterday when I picked up the saddle bag guards. He told me that they are pretty lenient about such things. Not to worry.
Well, I do have to watch it a bit because I'm still in the break in procedure. I need to keep it under around 3000 RPM so that limits us to about 80 MPH. By the time we head back, I should be past the break in period though.
Looking like I'll have the Road Glide ready to head to Galena. Luggage rack, highway pegs, backrest, saddle bag guards, passenger grab rails, Bushtec hitch and trailer wiring....all done.
I'm going to have so many people on ignore here that it will be like I'm here by myself.
Just kidding of course. When I bought the Rode Glide, my wife asked me if I realized how much crap I was going to get. Yes, I knew it. All in good fun as far as I'm concerned.
I did put my flag pole and VentureRider flag on it.
Douglas, go to the UserCP and then click on "Edit Options" in the left menu. Scroll down to the section "Messaging and Notifications". You can set it up there to send you emails when there is a reply to any threads that you post or subscribe to.
You may be right. Time will tell. I have a Corbin on the Venture and really have enjoyed it. I'm more concerned right now about the handlebars. Just not enough pullback and I KNOW I'm going to get that ice pick between the shoulders feeling. Got it on my Venture too until I installed the Flanders bars.
Actually stopped by today and tried to buy a set of bars and go ahead and change them out but they didn't have any in stock.
I did get the Bushtec hitch and the trailer wiring installed this evening. Also installed some passenger grab rails.
Eddie,
I'll have to look in the manual. They told me at the dealership to keep it under 3,000 for 50 miles and then under 3500 until 500 miles. Like you say though, it's not a problem. It cruises very nicely under 3,000 rpm.
Ruffy,
It comes down to how many, if any, of those folks have ever replace the coil? Now I admit that I have. I will also tell you for a fact that I honestly don't remember how I did it or which bolts I removed. Sorry buddy. Wish I could have helped.
