  1. It's a great addition in my opinion. I have no problem opening my gas cap with the bars at full lock either direction. I guess it depends upon how you need them adjusted. At any rate, it made my '18 very comfortable.
  2. I'm using a number of different solutions already. Registration requires email verification and "question and answer". I've tried image verification, Captcha, etc. Nothing is working perfectly.
  3. As of this morning, the count is 813 spammers over the last 30 hours. I am continuing to try various solutions.
  4. Just for the record, we have had 567 spammers try to join over the last 24 hours.
  5. Not at all. It is appreciated.
  6. Yea, we went through something but this is different. They are just registering and hiding little hints to their products in their registrations. Most of them never even confirm their email addresses. I'm working on figuring out a solution.
  7. Yes, we've had 59 new users register today and only 2 of them were legit. I usually get.a couple per day.
  8. Folks, in case you haven't noticed, we are being attacked by spam today. I started deleting them early this morning and have deleted literally dozens of users today. I have reset things so that I have to approve members before they can post. I did that because of a large number of pornographic posts that new members were posting. So for now, anytime somebody registers, they will not be able to post until I approve them. I'm probably going to turn off the "Welcome" messages also.
  9. I didn't change the sheet but did add a note regarding this issue.
  10. instruction sheet that comes with the wing light from Yamaha is incorrect. Instructions say Red from wing to Yellow on bike, Orange from wing to Blue on bike, Black to Black. Correct instructions should be Red from wing to Blue on bike, Orange from wing to Yellow on bike, Black to Black.
  11. It is certainly backwards. The resister should absolutely be in the wire going to the tail light. Brake light does not go through the resister. Swap those and you should be good to go.
  12. Well, I definitely want a wider shield because I think they make a huge difference in wind buffeting, especially for the passenger. That looks good though. You did a great job.
  13. Look back through the thread again. I just restored the pictures that were available. Some were from Photobucket and it wasn't possible to restore those.
  14. Well, I wouldn't stress over it. It's a great looking bike. I actually like the colors better than the '93.
  15. WOW...how old can you GET????? Congrats my friend. Hope you have many more great years.
  16. I think you are all making this way too hard. Just hook the trailer up, take a jumper wire, and jumper from the bike's connector to the trailers connector one at a time until you figure out what is what. Shouldn't take very long.
  17. Yea, I'm 6'3. Not sure it really matters though. I think it boils down to where you need the support. I like putting my feet out on the highway pegs and really leaning back against the backrest. It just saves my back from a lot of pain. I think it depends more on where you need the support than how tall you are. Besides, most of my height is in my legs, not the waist up.
  18. The Corbin is heated but I think it only works on their seat., I have the Utopia and love it. No way would the Yamaha one be high enough to suit me. I do have the Corbin passenger backrest and it came heated. One other note, it does fold forward to make it easier for the passenger to get on.
  19. My condolences. Prayers will continue for you and your family.
  20. @Rasa just wanted to let you know that the windshield arrived today. It is installed and ready to go. I know it's going to be too short for me but at least I have a windshield to use until mine gets back from Clearview. Thanks much my friend. For those who may have missed it. I took my windshield off and sent it to Clearview. They are going to use it as a base pattern to make a wider shield for the SVTC. RASA had a medium in the classifieds for sale. He made me a good deal on it so I bought it so that I wouldn't be without a shield while mine is gone. Can't wait to see what Clearview comes up with.
  21. Prayers for your dad and your family. May the Lord give you strangth.
  22. It was unveiled this week. Here is a story from this morning on Fox News. I think it's a fantastic looking car and is supposed to start around the same price as the old model. I've never owened a vet and just barely have had a desire to but I would love to have this one. It is certainly outside my price range though. https://www.foxnews.com/auto/2020-chevrolet-corvette-revealed-with-mid-engine-design-bargain-price
  23. LOL...I somehow responded to the wrong thread.
