I don't know what you are talking about, I am setting here at the window watching the grass grow and hope it gets high enough to cut soon.

It has been nice here for the most part of the weekend but we are supposed to get rain tonight and tomorrow.

When I got my bike I had not ridden a bike in 18 years so I took it easy and slow for a while to get use to it. Then the wife went for a ride with me and when we stopped there was some gravel and my feet went out from under me and the bike rolled over on the crash bars and we went for a tumble. She gets up and looked at me and said well that was a slow roll and the name stuck.

Don I have the RSTD bars on my bike and the stock cables will work, just have to reroute them.

I have the Show Chrome cap on mine ,no problem with it.

From what I read his problem is at the backrest not the hinges.

Hopnell makes about the best bag for the windshield. I didn't like the way they sat on my bike so I cut the two smaller bags off the backing and bolted them to the shield.

It is on the calendar.

Mike I still have the Venture it won't go anywhere for a long time. Bob no cassette player but it does have an MP3, and XM radio. Lenny I am not sure about mounting the fairing to an RSTD I will have to look at it better.

The verdict is still out. Only got to ride it about 20 miles so far, it has been raining here the last couple days.

Puc it is a standard Zumo 665. The fairing was molded to fit it in. It also works well with the 660 also. I put mine in it and turned the volume up. Great set of speakers. There is a controle on the left handlebar to control the unit. Now have to get an XM service or load a lot of tunes on the MP3 disc.

No cruise control but it does have a throttle lock.

That big square thing in the dash is a Zumo 665 and the bike came stock with it. The trunk is aftermarket, I am not sure who makes it but I will try to find out.

I got home with it at 6:30 this evening and my oldest son got on and said that he was going to take it home and bring it back tomorrow. That is OK with me cause he will be riding it more than I will. I still like the RSV.

Well folks I did it. I pulled the trigger on a new ride. It is a 2014 V Star 1300 Tour. Well I am a little late but so what I am always late. The wife said it was my day and ask what I was going to get into. I kicked back in the recliner and turned the tv to 160 and watched old westerns all day.

Don't feel bad Eck. I did the same thing to my Black Mustang. When I realized what I did I looked at and said you dumb a#% look what you did.:bang head:

Don it happens to me. I don't like to ride much anymore on the local roads or by myself. Get me with friends or a two or more day trip and then I want the bike. I guess that feeling just comes natural after riding so long.

Larry sorry to hear about the surgery. Hope every thing goes well and heal quickly. Prayers up.

I would check out the clutch system to make sure it is working properly. Then change the clutch plates and the springs on the Barnett plate.
