  1. So just checking here, is it from the back side of the motor. I had to actually pull my clamps off. On the collecter its self was an adventure getting the wrench in. Once I got it loose I'm thinking I spread the pipe just a hair and it came right off.. How much rust is there? Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah I kinda umm didn't know... So anyways gonna be ordering that stuff tomorrow. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  3. Nope the weep hole in the water pump... I put the new impeller in and I'm betting I will have to replace the seal and bearing. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  4. I just open mine and type valves! lol tell you older ones still believe in books. [emoji87] Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah well it wasn't seeping until I changed the impeller. And I guess I should have looked it up before I put it all together I ended up looking it up after I put it all together to find out why it was seeping out of the weep hole![emoji25] Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  6. Picture is close to the ventures saddlebags crazy kick ass bike though! Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  7. Ps kidding about plugging that hole. Hopefully 3rd times the charm[emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  8. I got my oring, impeller shaft, and got everything sealed up on Tinker as far as the water pump. Rode her around naked and had antifreeze coming out of the weep hole. So guess I'm gonna have to order a water pump assembly to stop all this crazy leaking. No more then what's coming from that hole might just plug it. There just enuff coming out of that hole it claim a spot again. Annoying really. But I've got other issues I want to a dress before she is ready for the road again. Like checking the valve shimm while replacing the valve gaskets. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  9. I hear you Vaz I picked up a 2002 650 Vstar for $700 back in October. I have never been on a Vtwin before well non Harley anyways. I love the sound of the sporties. I rode a road king last summer and it felt like something was a miss. Mind you it was running right. But it just felt weird. I loved the nighthawk but them 250s are like riding a revved push mower. Just my opinion. So that 650 will be my second favorite bike for just hopping on and cruising. The sons 450 Nighthawk is a pretty cool bike too. Enuff pep to run 100+ but still easy to put around town on. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  10. How hard is it to adjust these valves? I've adjusted valves in other bikes but you simply used a wrench. I know these you need special tool to kind rotate into place so you can change the shimms. Looks fairly simple. I'm also torn I'm thinking about chopping tinker up.. But I lack creativity, I have in mind what I want to do tho. Just putting into her is another thing. My other issue is I love to have my bags and tour pack. But I think she looks better without the tour pack. After the wreck skinned her up a bit I've thought more about what I want to do. But the plastics are in pretty Damn good shape believe it or not. So far no duck tape holding stuff together. So I'm lost right now. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  11. Well I got all the pieces for her but I've got leaks around the water pump both oil and antifreeze so reorder print and gaskets. I've got oil leaking from around where the gasket is. Then the antifreeze is shooting from the top of the water pump cover. I went to snug some bolts down the longer 3 and heard a snap.[emoji25] THE crack is at the motor.. I'm thinking rtv gasket maker to seal between the motor and water pump assembly. Oil wasn't leaking till I took it apart. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  12. Ok two questions, @cowpuc are you saying you never adjusted your valves? Also what's the deal with pressure washers? Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk

  17. Christmas parade before her demise[emoji22] Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  18. We don't do that here sir! I won't because it's not about cost. Its about the love of the heart of the bike! Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  19. Remember this is there alpha build. That being said I don't think IMHO that it's normal to have switch backwards![emoji23][emoji23] but could be normal for this generation everything is backass backwards![emoji16] Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  20. Some routers have the DHCP lease time that renew or expire can't remember which. But you can set it where it doesn't do that. One of my routers used to do that everyday till I figured it out. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  21. On a positive note, it sure was a beautiful day. I got police report today they didn't see which way the bike lay. They have it pointing south east and wrong side. It was pointing north west on its right side. But in damage they show right side. But there was a total of 3 witnesses and My EYE WITNESS. Believe the camera is sykik rider c6l action cam. They have fancier setups. I paid I think $30 for mine. It was at a pawn shop that post on eBay. Figured it was cheap enuff. The battery isn't the best in it but I have it plugged into a USB plug on the bike that comes on with the bike. So I don't have to remember to turn it on. This one has 3 settings, vga, 720 and one other setting. I was looking at some sykik accessories they have wireless tire monitoring too I might get that for tinker as it is a bit of pain checking rear tire. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  22. Well I hobbled out there she don't look to bad seems by the turn signal and the crash guard took the brunt of the road rash. I didn't see anymore gas underneath I fired her up and this time she sounded good but I think throttle boss or cable is fubar. The water pump elbow has a nice gouge in it now so she has no antifreeze in her at the moment. I was only going about 35 when this all happened. It was scary as all hell but I will take road rash over hitting another vehicle any day.. Just been nice if I would have got something to help with the pain. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  23. I have her on camera straight up balling cause of it. When I realized she was going I hit them brakes. But at the time I thought she ran the stop sign. She more less did because she was supposed to move forward and stop. She just straight up did as you said. Either way the accident was her fault. I kinda want to see what insurance wants to do with the situation. She was a Flowers delivery van. My insurance has me worried he kept asking about a title. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  24. I'll have to ask if it's still insurable but the guy sure was interested if I had the title in my hand. Better offer up something good if he trying to buy it. I won't settle for jokes. Sent from my LG-M255 using Tapatalk
  25. Not sure but does not appear to be coming from tubes, I'll wait till I'm feeling better maybe have to pull airbox and see from there. The side that took damage is also the side that I have my TCI Box at... I also gonna wait for the adjuster to come look at it before I try to pull crash guard out. And so any work to her.
