Hey us men love to wonder aimlessly. That's why if we chose to have a woman around its better, cause usually it drives them bat **** crazy!!![emoji23] Hey now not sure about this guy![emoji12] Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk

OK, I should have updated or better yet made more sense. So here it is I basically was trying to state facts on my town. I did get a hold of the guy who did my carbs. Which he also owns a Venture. What he told me on his Venture is when him and his wife went to Rolla, MO from here he pulled 46 miles to gallon. Around town however he got 28 or so miles to a gallon. The part that didn't seem to make sense to me was the fact why so much difference between In town miles, and Highway Miles. The gas gauge I get that. Because the neck of the tank in the location it is in and where the sending unit sets. Basically I have it figured the gauge is just there to let you know when you are about to run out of gas. Which Before it never did it would show full, then 25 or so miles down the road it would show the pump. Then at about 1/2 it would come back, then it would show no gas. then finally at about 1 bar it would come back for a couple miles, then show I needed gas. Once in a while I would run out with one bar showing. I just wanted to have a better Idea of what gas was actually in the tank. Thanks for the input on this, and the guy who worked on my carbs is gonna tune out my carbs for me for no charge to make up for missing the jet block screws. Also gonna have him sparkle up Marie too in the spring.

Resistance check for TCI?
snyper316 replied to luvmy40's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Thanks Bob.. Now you have refreshed my memory my Mom used to run an automated machine, and if memory serves me right would insert those onto the Circuit Boards. I believe the ones we did 8, 12, 16, and 20 legs. Are they by chance black pre-programmed chips and would kinda remind someone of a centipede? -
Couldn't get a bigger hammer if I wanted to. Trust me the thought has crossed my mind once or twice. Sorry it is true somethings just get to you, especially when things aren't doing what you want them to. I always thought it was (when all else fails look for pictures)

WOWZERS I'm trying here I do know how to read, but I am guessing when you say How to read you mean; being able to read something and absorb it into your brain? Instead of letting the words go in one eye and out the other.

From what I had noticed on previous TCI, That when it would be warm outside the bike ran like crap, or just refused to start till I left it sit. 4-5 hours later when it started cooling outside, it would fire up. Then the one day when you all got to know me it just quit. So my question would be is this, how would you know what resistance would be at what temperature? I would think where I live that when its over 90 degrees outside, and say your motor temperature at the top is 250 degrees how would that affect the resistance. I watched a guy use a hair dryer on coils while showing how to test ohms, He did this with both a good coil and a bad coil. Could it be possible for us to do the same thing with the TCI's? Just tossing something in there.:2cents: -
You do realize we are talking about the Guderment right? But I tell you one thing, My 79 Pontiac Grand Prix had more Umph then My Tahoe. It was down on horsepower I would guess being a 301 C.I. motor. My Tahoe Has the 325 C.I. and it feels puny. Haven't tested it, but the Grand Prix would get away from me if I didn't watch the speedometer.

I will add one more thing here the only other place I could find that had the wire was either up 30 miles north of me Or up In Springfield mo at 1.32 a foot So I did luck out on that. The other thing I had those same wires watched on my Ebay and it kept telling me out of stock the seller relisted and when I would hit the relist button it kept telling me same thing so thanks for the link.. But I have one question I would like to get these Plug Caps http://www.ebay.com/itm/201227450141?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT but only say for resistance No Contunity Till Fired!! And one last thing the auto parts store you can try is like small type where you walk in and need one bolt you get a bolt kind of store.

Ok this makes absolutely no sense but went 68 miles on 2.5 gallons but this is all in town riding and the little country road cruise earlier and I have tried to find anything in regards to in town driving my town is 80% hills and I live on a hill no matter where I go I have to go up hills and 75% of the time there is steady winds and gusts after all I do live in Tornado Alley. Now I am a big guy at 280 give or take a few lbs so I have figure I fixed my fuel Gauge and I do know the carbs need synced. But what should expect for in town driving Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk

Had to manually look at map to see where I was anyone else have this habit of exploring unknown roads..[emoji23] Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
