I think the wires would depend on whether the bike is in Humid area, Mine went bad With corrosion cut them open after I went ahead and replaced them and towards the middle the wire was so green It was a wonder it even fired.

Tape player's I had in my vehicles didn't work when I would get them but worked good after I fixed them, I have never had much luck trying to fix Cd Players..

Mostly likey any failures i have ran into are within the plugs. If you can pull a single wire with the plug one at a time and clean them up real good. If you can't do that get yourself a can of CRC electronics cleaner and wire brush set and clean them that way.

Replace the Caps, I guess the resister in them will get loose as they warm up, I would also replace the coil wires. I had the same problem a couple months back and was chasing that damn miss for 3 or so months.

That would be one expensive tape player. I have tapes out in the garage I haven't heard in 10 yrs.

What I have done so far to my 83 is pulled the carbs out, Checked floats and adjusted slightly. Number 2 was not closing all the way. Replaced all screws with Allen heads. Watching an Item on ebay getting ready to bid on it. Then I will be putting that item on my bike. Sealing up the YICS box and possibly putting it back in. Just kind of working as time and money allows. One question would be I put 4 shots of seafoam in the tank and it is full. The question should I put the carbs back on just to start it or will my non ethanol gas be OK? Also Tues will be going to the plumbing shop in Joplin to see if they have the Abs Plastic and glue to do a few plastic tabs and repair. Then February I am gonna take a leap and order that TCI I found and try it out to see if it performs well. Will give my reviews on it, Take it out to have the guy at the shop spin it up to see what he thinks of it. He knows how these Ventures are supposed to run. Also will be getting the Morgan goodies to set mixture and balance. AS far as the 07 Rebel I will be pulling the tank and carb to clean both. Then put evapo rust in it along with Nuts and bolts. Replacing the Petcock on it as the reserve side just drips also when it is on position I don't think it has enuff flow when you get up in the 60-70 range it cuts out sometimes. After blowing air back thru it cleared it up for a little while. Also any suggestion for the 83 Accessory lamps for the front crash bar to both be seen better and see better at night. Was looking at some LED lights but they all say FOR OFFROAD USE ONLY. Will also be putting Leds in where I can so less draw from system. Will also be getting me an AGM battery and new windscreen for it. Mine is so scratched up it darned near blinds you at night when light hits it.

I don't think they run, First flight with my sons it was set on beginner mode, well it wasn't lifting up so I pushed the stick a little further. Well it reminded me of those satellites it went vrrrrr straight up, wind gust got it and threw it on the roof. I was standing maybe 10 feet from my house. So I tried out my fishing skills and pulled it off the roof. I would have tried to fly it off but it was upside down.

They are pretty cool but, tricky to control so from my amatuer experience if you need to make adjustments make sure its in the middle of a football field. I landed my sons on the roof upside down.

@Freebird It don't have to be a company car, you get hurt or say hit a big yellow pole:Avatars_Gee_George: with a fork truck. I ended up taking a drug test on that one. I passed of course that counts as one of my responsibilities. They did end up firing me but not for drugs, but for hitting the big yellow pole. I wasn't the only one who hit them but I did break an empty pallet and knocked dirt off the bottom of the forklift. My problem was I was honest, told the boss. I just didn't see it around the mast thought I had it cleared and turned to soon. Then another time I listened to an idiot boss who told me the forklift could handle two pallets at a time. I tried to tell him it wouldn't lift that high because the height he wanted me to put them up would void the counter balance. Needless to say the forklift tipped forward on me so I dumped the load. Milnot Milk stinks when it goes splat by 1,000's of cans.

This hole thread was mainly about my daughter, which I have fought for years to figure out what was going on with her, but still feel like noone is listening to me. She is 8 I just want her to be happy and healthy. I do not believe in drugging kids at all, I just want her more stable then what she is. Common sense would tell me if something isn't working you try something else.
