Beau-Kat Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 So, I did some engine work on a friend's Yamaha and wasn't going to charge him. But he insisted on something. So, he brought me a Tractor Supply Adult Pedal Car that he no longer used. Cool little thing in great condition. But, I live near the mountains and my 4 acre yard has lots of long hills. So, too much work to pedal this thing. So... I remembered I have this old driveway edger with a 3.5hp horizontal shaft Briggs engine and I have this welding machine, old sprockets and chains, etc.,..... Gonna get interesting around here soon. Ha!
etcswjoe Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Cool, let me know when you get it going sounds like fun.

Freebird Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I see one of those "hold my beer and watch this" moments in the future.
KIC Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 don't forget brakes He don't need no stinkin' brakes. Brakes are for 2nd Genners...

Larry1963 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Two things, video tape it so someone can get some money of American Funniest Video:Avatars_Gee_George: What is your wife going to with your motorcycle once you are gone?
ragtop69gs Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 There's lots of crashed V-Maxes out there you could snag an engine from! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Beau-Kat Posted December 3, 2015 Author Posted December 3, 2015 LOL!! Lots of good responses/suggestions/concerns/warnings/comedy. Don't stop now. Keep 'em coming. Most likely will take some time to cobble (excuse me, I meant to say, "to meticulously engineer") it all together. I think the Briggs will be enough. After letting it rip a bit (and posing some photos/videos for inquiring minds), I'm planning to govern it way down for my boys to ride. It will probably take them a year more of growing before they can really operate it. And yes, it has brakes! Ha!
Beau-Kat Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 :rotfl: :rotfl: Uh, that would be from my old commercial fishing days in the '70s. Never failed me though. Might have to give it a try.
