Jay, Its yours. I just have to get to the UPS place I am pretty rural

and we have a store that has pick up about 7 miles away. and they

don't charge like the UPS store does :shock3:

OK guys I will take the TINT one down in the Box it came in

and get the pricing. The one for you Jay will most likely be shipped

to in the F4 box after I get it next well.

Will give both of you guys the details maybe SAT aft.

The TENTED one I had the longest and there are a few surface

scratches but not bad. the CLEAR is only about 1 year old and I think

only as 2 small light scratches in it.

I have always only used Novus on both Shields as well.

The F4 I will have to get used to using Windex and paper towels I just will cringe when I first do that

to a new windshield :shock3:

The Rain shedding on the F4 is great if you keep the windshield clean. Here is what we recommend to enhance the rain shedding:

Take a clean paper towel and use rubbing alcohol and clean both sides very well. This will take all of the road grime and any other cleaners off that you might have used. After this just use any glass cleaner and paper towels and it will shed rain great.

Thanks for your comments.

F4 Customs

I love my F4 on my Venture,,, but I do not see any mystical water propelling properties.

When it rains, the windshield gets wet. At speed, it is still wet. Had the F4 over a year.

I have a Clearview on my RSTD. It gets wet too.

Oh, and they both fog in fog.

I do not see a "clear" advantage for how either handles water. Neither sheets water while riding in the rain, or through fog.

I did buy the F4 cleaner at time of sale. It cleans and also is good on salads.

(kidding, but it does have a vinegar smell.)

I may try Rain-x. I use Rain-x premix (orange) in my car wiper bag and it is GREAT.

But have not tried it on the F4.

Just clean the F4 with Alcohol and paper towels and the rain shedding will be fine. Road grime and debris gets built up and this causes the shield not to shed rain as well as when it was new.
