F4 is now taking pre-orders for the new 2018 Goldwing Windshields. These are going to be made in three sizes: GL1800-2018-16 RE-CURVE This shield is 16" tall with a re-curve which is the same height that the 2018 Goldwing (F6B) model. This shield can be purchased in either standard width or 3" per side wider than stock. No distortion even in the re-curve. GL1800-2018-20" Re-curve This shield is 20" tall with a re-curve and is the same height that the 2018 Goldwing Touring model. This shield can be purchased in either standard width or 3" per side wider than stock. No distortion even in the re-curve. GL1800-2018-24" This shield is 24" tall and straight no re-curve and is 4" taller and 3" wider per side than stock shield for the Goldwing Touring. Our testing revealed that the extra width was a major help for both the rider and the co rider. All shields are manufacture with no distortion, shed rain, and are highly scratch resistant just like all of the windshield from F4 Customs you have grown accustom to. This is Don at F4 Customs and there is no way our windshields will break. They are made of High Optics Polycarbonate and you can bend it 90 degrees, hit it with a sledge and you will not tear or break it. Here is a video that will illustrate how tough our shields are.

It has been our experience with any other windshield due to clarity and rain shedding you should look over the shield. However with the "optical clarity" and "rain shedding" ability of the F4 Customs windshield you now have the option to have extra protection that you can get from looking through and being behind the taller windshields.

The F4 is made of high optics poly carbonate and this is what the OEM's use as it is much safer than Acylic. The difference is that we name a hard coating into our shield making them very durable. They are highly scratch resistant, shed rain, and are optically perfect. We have very minimal Warranty issues and offer a 4 year warranty against cracking,crazing, and delamination. To have the F4 perform to its potential you must keep it clean and we suggest taking paper towels and Rubbing Alcohol to clean it once in a while. This removes all of the road grime and residue left behind from other cleaners. If you do this it will shed rain extremely well. F4 also has there own cleaner that you can call and order but good old Windex and paper towels are fine also. For those that like to run Rain X on your cars you can do this also with the F4 as it is chemically sealed.
