Snarley Bill Posted July 4, 2010 Author Share #14 Posted July 4, 2010 I would go looking for a "wrecked " 99 Busa, and do an engine swap !!!!! was hoping someone would ask. was going to make a sleeper out of it but if you ever rode one they are dangerous enough stock. i'm going to run a harbor freight 13 hp motor with a comet cvt clutch. front disc brake and rear drum with aluminum 10" wheels and new style scooter tires. i picked this model cuz i wanted one as a teenager, and it has a leading link fork with lots of travel. i've already built a bunch of eagles with v- twins and hopped up flat heads. this time i just wanted something with eletric start, reliable, and nostaligic, so i can ride with my cushman buddies at the cushman meets.
