Aussie Annie Posted June 6, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 6, 2010 This morning I decided to make a brace for the lower leg by cutting down a wrap-around brace I had been given the first time the fixator came off. Asked Quickstep to cut down the metal plates than run through it...and Hey presto! made a shorter version. But would it work Asked Quickstep if he fancied a ride into Fremantle for a coffee, and he said why not! Sooooo............... YEEHAW: Took my first ride on the Quike since before Christmas. :dancefool: WOOF WOOF: Only a dog would understand the wind in the face feeling!! Riding the bike is the one thing I can do independently, and feel able bodied I'm a happy little venture rider.

mini-muffin Posted June 6, 2010 Share #8 Posted June 6, 2010 Glad to hear you're back on wheels. Take it easy we don't want anything happening to you. Not too shabby an idea either on shortening the old brace. They say necessity is the mother of invention. Margaret
