Functional: Corbin seat lowered 1-1/2 inches, upgraded head light to 86 up style, running lights, arm rests for wife I made with her own cup holder. Blaupunkt CD-MP3 player with 4 speakers installed. Safety: Air horns, Strobes in head light, strobes in trunk light bar with LED lights on trunk when brakes activated. Looks: painted Twight Royal Pearl, a soft pearl purple with ghost flames. Made "bikini" side panels to open engine up with lowers removed. Polished front forks, handle bars and engine covers. LOL... I made my very first change to my bike tonight.. the only new part I had laying around that would fit.. I replaced the plastic valve cover for the rear shock with a chrome spike cap... Also had the trunk rack put on at the same time. The next was the LED brake light bar for visiblity from the rear. Now I can start adding the good stuff. The XXL Clearview shield would probably be my wife's favorite mod, she gets lots less buffeting now. Second for me would be the lowers vents,, when it is hot down here in the summer they make a big difference. Luggage rack is real handy, Battery tender connection almost a necessity, Zumo 550 with 4gig memory card for MP3s just plain fun. LED brake light makes me feel a little more comfortable that I'll be noticed when I stop. XM radio,, was OK but now that I have the Zumo, it will be coming off. All day rides are no longer a problem and a couple of hours was about the best I could do as well before I installed them. I also went to the Mustang seat with the driver backrest, which allows me to ride without my back belt. No more sore lower back, and my co-pilot likes the pillion a lot more too.
