Sorry KiteSquid: You need to write Yamaha and tell them.....look, that clutch whine cost me a windshield!! I could not stand it any longer.......that skyscraper windshield had to go......I cut it down last night, I am just at six foot......ended up taking a full 4.5 inches off it. I certainly was not going to wait on Clearview, call them.....and wait another two months....it had to go!! All I have to do is finish the edges nicely......going to wait a day or so...make sure this is exactly where I want it. I cut mine off on the bike.....taped the whole shield.........lined it off.....cut it........laid towels all over the bike...blew the rest of the sawdust off with the air compressor. The result: I love it so far......have not put it on the interstate yet..but up to 65/70 close to my house.......just a steady airflow....no more buffeting. And I can see the doggies through the morning fog now!! Kit

Well it started Friday with 1 -an accident with my trailer(old sno-mobile one that I knew tilted but not swiveled) that sidswiped a truck turning in other lane going other way 2 -Brother passing away on Sunday morning Thanks to all for condolences 3 -Wife hitting car driving thro a stop light infront of her from out of nowhere(must have been talking and didn't see it as everyone else was stopped). Think our 2005 car is tottaled but will have to wait and see what adjuster says. one person taken to hospital to check for seatbelt injury. Wife was shaken up a scene but seemed fine for about 1 1/2 hours then shock wore off and broke down.(first accident for her) What a week!!!!!!!!!!

Yes...and FINALLY . I received a call today, at 5:50pm, informing me that my bike was ready for pickup. But they were closing at 6pm, so that left me with a wait for tomorrow. I can't wait to get my VR back, and I will touch back here right after I do.

Had a flat when I left work yesterday. Found a small whole, muscled it to Wal Mart next door to work and filled it up. Road home got up this morning and its still good. Tire was kind of Ify anyway, so I'm going to wait on the new one before I ride again. But for what its worth, if you have Ride-On in the tires and a way to inflate them when you get a puncture you can "RIDE-ON".
