Horns have lost effectiveness(couldn't scare a mouse) so was wondering how many 1st Gen's have stebble horn on bike. Have seen and heard them on 2nd Gen and sounded great(not sure how police would view them when blown----only when necessary) would the large 30amp relay be a drain on stator? Where would they be best mounted?

I poster about a good 3/4 helmet a while back, for quality, comfort & dry eyes for nav. She spent many hours trying on all kinds of helmets, not an easy job. Shields fit over her glasses perfectly. This helmet was also the most comfortable, for her. No more goggles with shield & missing the view. She is happy. We tried ALL the major brands & ended-up with the Nolan 42N-COM, it just had everything. Thanks for all your GREAT input. I have tried to view a few threads this afternoon that require my password to view, not a problem; but i curious as to why my pass word wont work to view the threads. am i doing something wrong or are they locked out for some reason?

Well, I finally got tired of bright headlights in my rear view mirrors...so, I am trying something...I put window tint masking on them...worked great this afternoon...will let you know how they do on my way home tonite...anybody ever try this?

I am looking at replacing my stock windshield with one from Clear View, and read that most people want to see over the top of the windshield, I currently look through the windshield and like that. Why does most prefer to look over the top?

I would like some advise on a replacement windshield "to replace my stock one on 2000 RSV" It is in excelent shape but it is high and not good in the rain,so I am asking for your opinions, eg: Clear View or JC Whitney or ? and what is it like to have a wider shield and a shorter one ?
