Hi Guys, I bought this '87 Royale to fix up lass may an d only got about half done before winter came. I want it for this season so I am tackling the body again. but... I went to take the battery out to get a new one. Last year I always had to put a charger on it to play with the carbs and such. Well, when I took it out, it was completely dry. So me thinks, maybe if I put acid in it may work, at least well enough to work on it, and if not I'll get a new one. So, I had an old car battery sitting here to take back to the store whenever I get a new battery. I drilled small holes in the bottom of each cell, one at a time and put the acid in a peanut butter jar and filled up each cell on the bike battery. I now have it on a 2 amp charger, to see what will happen. What do ya think, did I waste my time or could I save it? I have no idea how old it is , since it came with the bike. Okay, Zumo 550 says it can talk to Bluetooth cell phones and headsets. My cell phone is compatible. Just purchased new headsets connected to factory intercom. Also, the audio out from the Zumo simply plugs into the Aux port of the cass player. How do I get the corded headset mic to talk into the mic port of the Zumo?

walked into the local "INTERSTATE BATTERY ",THIEVERYSHIP THIS MORNING ON A WHIM. asked about a gel cell battery for my '86. salesman said we don't stock them, but i can order you one for $146.00. another sales person, said "odyssey makes one for them also.".i gave them the odyssey part # and they had ONE in stock, that was "ordered by mistake." anyhow i got out the door with it for $89.00! now my question, is, do i charge it in the wet cell mode, or agm mode? help please. just jt

Ok,I received my Odyssey Battery and I have a Question. If I need to charge this battery in the future do I need a special battery charger? I keep reading on it and it says use a DRY CELL type battery charger? I am assuming the Odyssey is categorized as a DRY CELL Battery? Anyway any responses is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Tom

You know the last couple of days have brought out all kinds of opinions and idea's about modulars headlites ...was the young girl on a cell phone ..this and that and you know ...and I'm guilty of it myself ...but do we read all the facts ...find out what is really happening ...or see something and have to gave an opinion before we go though everything ..are we being sensitive enough when we post ....Jeff ..Gary's son ..is a very mature man ...he stated that the young lady wasn't on a cell ...she made a judgement error that was terrible ...but yet I read post of how she was on a cell ....How many even noticed his post ...how many realize that the young men are even looking at the site and reading what's happening here ...Hmmm do we need to be doing this at this time? I just have so many things going though my little brain right now ...I had to write this ...right or wrong it's just an opinion ...doesn't count for squat I guess ...but I had to write it ...

I suspect that with all the new high capacity cell phones that there will soon be no reason for stand alone MP3 players. I just became eligible to upgrade to a new cell phone under my current plan. I started looking and actually got one and then took it back because it didn't support the memory that they said it did. I had 4 Verizon store associates and two a the technical support number tell many different things but NONE of them knew the products that they are selling. So, as usual I found it best to do my own research. I'm glad that I did because there are some great new phones hitting the stores next month and I'll wait for one of them. So, what I am talking about is that several new phones coming out will support 8GB of storage via the micro sdhc chip. That is the same as an IPOD Nano. I like the idea of not having to take my cell phone AND my MP3 player on the bike or anywhere else for that matter. Not only is the 8GB chip now available, but they soon you will be able to get them with up to 32GB. That's a LOT of songs folks. I have over 100 complete CDS on my IPOD and am only using about 8GB of space. Many of those I never listen to or really even like, just loaded up everything I had at the time. So, what do you think? Are stand alone MP3 players going to become a thing of the past? Why would anybody want to carry around two different devices when one will do? Ok... I'm sure someone has the answer... How do I hook up my cell phone to run thru the headset on my bike. I have a 1st Gen with Chatterbox headsets and it seems like it only takes minutes after I start riding that people need to get ahold of me... What are you guys doing?

How can I hook up my razor phone and have the cell phone work through the IC system? I don't see how to get voice from IC to the cell phone. Audio from cell is no problem. THanks for any info...
