  1. I'm glad you will be ok. This is a good reminder for all to gear up, because you just never know when the worst can happen. I'm sorry about your bike but hopefully you'll be back in the saddle soon. Hoping for a speedy recovery
  2. What he said. The only gear position the bike will start in with the kickstand down is nuetral
  3. The way you say it shuts down I would say it's not a fuel related issue. I would start at the kickstand sensor as you said it would start in neutral. The ignition would be the next logical culprit. Happy Hunting:fingers-crossed-emo
  4. Small socket set Hex wrenches Gloves- fingerless, mesh, insulated waterproof Kickstand pad Factory tool kit Electrical tape Rain suit/ chaps Tire gauge / plug kit First Aid Kit Extra sunglasses Detail spray Glass cleaner wipes Drying rag/ Microfiber towel
  5. "Life is a journey not a destination" The best way to be fully engaged to the "Journey" is on two wheels. If you have a spouse and or friends that can share the experience, then you and I are fortunate souls.
  6. We just missed each other out there!! I went to those same spots we also ran through Utah and Colorado on the way back to finish with a 1227 mile 20hr 20min Iron Butt home from Colorado Springs. ( waiting on my Cert) I love that area! We had great weather and just missed the cold snap.
  7. I have been there too many times but I have nothing but good memories of the joy that my animal friends brought me. Sorry for your loss Don
  8. If that is real it was awesome!!
  9. I'll put a second to this as I have mounted many things with this tape and never had anything lose grip
  10. I have dealt with Pinwall on many used parts and always had good service
  11. Glad you're ok! By the looks of the bike you were very fortunate. I hope you can get it back into shape, that was a sweet First Gen
  12. Twice a year. I usually put on about 10k per year so one change at the beginning of the season and one mid season with Amsoil. Even at that it looks like fresh oil coming out into the pan. I'm a believer in the synthetics, especially after my last truck with 472k with origanal engine and trans. I sold it in November and still see it on the road
  13. Looks like an '03 Ultra Classic.... One of my favorite color combos:thumbsup2:
  14. Nice job:thumbsup2:!! I love the color:sign killer dude:
  15. Now that is a beautiful thing!!:thumbsup2:
  16. I to was kind of disappointed with the new model as the rumor over this way is that the revamped RG was going to get the V-rod power plant. I'll reserve my judgement for the RG Ultra and see what flavors it comes in.
  17. The HD, Goldwing, and BMW are all close to this price point. The Victory CC comes in lower but no power windshield, no proximity key, no remote lock bags, no Bluetooth , slightly smaller displacement engine. I really like the Vic CC but not as many features to compare to the Roadmaster
  18. I like it too:thumbsup2: it is true to the brand, recognizable from a trotting horse. Actually if you put a filler piece in the middle of a second gen fender it's pretty dang close:whistling:
  19. Awesome bike with some great features. 30k is still less than the previous models of Indians, before Polaris bought the brand and they never had anything this decked out. I agree that is a lot of money but head to head with any new touring model equipped the same the price is competitive IMHO
