    ok..im getting about 110o every other reading...beginning with the very first one. it helps if i put batteries in it....

    i know exactly where dennys is. used to hang out down in monroe, been kicked out of that dennys a couple times........at 3am, back in my drinkin days....i should be good as long as parts are here next week.

    i do have aftermarket, and the test downloaded. im not getting any readings at all from the test. i tried different variables just in case...nothing..

    im not getting any readings at all with r/r test...set to 1 ohm, bike off.

    it barely registers at all. if you look at the red ac scale on my meter..it only goes to 3rd hash mark, which on the dc 0-50 scale is about 4 volts. i didnt even notice the mirror..always looking straight on...

    am i supposed to read ac red marks or dc black marks? its switched to acv 50. if i read the dc black marks..0-50...i still get readings at about 4v,

    i cut the r/r out...same low voltage at idle and 2000 rpms.

    i check at 2200 rpms...1 wire at 4v, the other 2 at about 3v.

    will it start if i cut the 3 wires coming out of stator?

    just found out my stator was bad, about an hour ago... i was told to check like this by twigg: Okay ... to make this easy to visualise ... Imagine each of the three wires is labelled 1, 2 and 3 Stab the red lead in 1 and the black lead in 2 Then Red in 1 and black in 3 Then red in 2 and black in 3. __________________ thats how i did it. supposed to read 15 to 18volts ac. mine read about 3....

    just had a stator go south, five months old. hopefully i can get new one and installed before then....

    no. just held in with, i think, 3 screws and locktite. and a wire holder if i remember right. good thing theres a 1year warranty. i will pull cover off tomorrow. see what i can see....

    the stator is 5 months old.....i put it in around christmas time...havnt had any problems till today...could it be anything else??

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #$%#@! if orgot the process on how to do it...drain oil...middle gear cover, then stator cover right????

    thats where i just checked....2 wires at almost 3v, and 1 wire at 2v....

    two of them at almost 3v, and one at 2v. wheres the crying smiley......

    right! i checked the wires at the point right after the solder joint between the stator and r/r. on the r/r side.

    no! the needle barely moves. i switched to 10ac just to see, its only measuring 2.5v!!!
