  8. Still looking like a nice weekend sunny and no rain we had 3 1/2 inches last night but my road work held up, so hope all goes good tonight and not5 much more rain and I will be caught up by Thursday afternoon. Sure am going to be ready to get in a ride and set around a nice fire. Orlin
  9. Am not sure how many will be here, I am going to have some venison brats also and picking up some hamburger, If you want to bring a pack of each we should be coverd. We would need more brats and beer for the fire dept for putting the truck fire out so lets just keep to a nice wood fire. Thanks Orlin

  11. good to see you can make it, looks like some great weather for the weekend,
  12. Hope you can find the problem so you can make it to Mt,Day. But you know you could put it on a trailer and bring it to Mt,Day Good luck Orlin
  13. I thought I should do a new post, and I do want to say sorry for the way that it has gone. With the help of Sharon and Oscar we can make it happen, and we didnt get the expected road damage, there is still alot of road repair I have to get done by Thursday so I can get Friday off and the weekend. I sent out some messages and I hope that most of you that were coming can still make it. I am sure the camping will be above the road and not down at the campground there is still plenty of rooom. We may not get as big of bonfire but we will have one, We hope that you all can still make it its going to be a very nice weekend by the looks of the weather for the weekend. Orlin and Sharon
  14. Hello We can still do the Mt, Day if plans have not changed for those that wanted to come. After talking with Sharon and her and Oscar helping to get ready and not getting as much road damage as was expected. I am sure the camping will be above the road and there is plenty of room, the bon fire may not be as big as I had planed but we will still have a nice fire. I will have to put together a diffrent ride we will still have cleaning up done on some of the roads, but I will get us a nice route to ride. Let me know if you can still make it, The only other date that we could come up with is Labor Day weekend, Sorry for the confusion Orlin
  15. I have a 87 parts motor sure we can work something out. Orlin
  16. Jeff I got the acre sized area for your tent ready, If you have the wrench to tighten the bearing nuts for the tripple tree do you think you have room to fit it in with the tent and Rum balls. Orlin
  17. We have been getting alot of rain here, So we may have to camp above the road and not down at the campground I still have plenty of room I will put up a sighn at the end of the drive so you know where to pull in. I am also thinking about working on the bikes out side if its nice out I have a very nice area its all concrete and lots of space. I will be putting in a outlet box so we have electicity. If you havent RSVP on the calendar please do so. Thanks Orlin
  18. I bought a Sync Pro a couple of years ago and got to use it one time had the fluid get sucked out of the line, I got new fluid but I still havent put the new back in I think that they would work fine but just seem to be to much of a hassel just to use it. I have a set of Mechanical gauges and I like them there in no fluids to mess with no batterys to replace and once you have them set they stay that way for a long time, and it takes about 5 minutes to sync the gauges if you need to. Orlin
  19. I put the links to the area Motels in the Meet and Eats, you may want to give them a call to make sure you can get a room, If there are enough people that want to stay in a Motel I will go and see if we can get a better price. Orlin
  20. I have a set of Gauges that I use for syncing carbs if someone has a carbtune they want to bring, other than that we can see what others want to do to their bikes and see what all we need. A volt meter mine burned up along with the pickup. As far as food goes maybe a dish to pass for Saturday evening if you have the room to bring one. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Orlin
  21. Hello It getting close so I would like to get a idea of who is coming, It is on the calendar and you can RSVP there. Thanks Orlin
  22. Nice pickup, pulls stumps how much fire wood can it haul.
  23. If it was me I would drain the oil, if you have coolant in the oil it wont take long to trash the bearings. When you drain the oil and it if its bubly or frothy looking you are getting coolant in the oil. You could also do a pressure check on the cooling system and that will tell you for sure. Orlin
  24. I met the new owner and unloaded the bike off of my trailer and onto his finished our trade and parted ways. He was excited to back home and go for a ride cant blame him for wanting to trailer it home it 31 degrees out with a good wind blowing. He got home and flooded it out so I get the call I dont understand it wont start, after talking with him and him telling me what he done to start it I told him its time for new plugs now and recharge the battery and it should start right up. So this morning he put in the new plugs hit the start button and the bike was running and he called me to let me know and that he was heading out for a ride. I sure hope that this cycle gives him as many happy hours and miles of riding as it had for Sharon and me. And yes it sounds like there will be new member on here shortly, Orlin
  25. Now the fun begins, enjoy the ride and be safe. Orlin
