We will be camping at our campground from Thursday to Monday and if you are passing threw Viroqua area stop on by, or if you want to come and spend a night or the weekend you are wellcome. We do this every year and invite friends and family so I figured I had better put something on here. I didnt want anyone saying I didnt know and just drove on by. Orlin and Sharon

Thanks for the info had the Venture for a couple of weeks and put a little over 600 miles on. I am averaging 38 miles per gallon with Sharon and me. Orlin

I just got a 2000 Venture and am wondering what is average gas milage, I am getting 37 to 40 miles per gallon, but we dont have many flat or straight roads around here:) Orlin

yep figured I am no hurry anymore so the second gen will fit me nice, but I did open it up yesterday and its got plenty of go to it:), There will be another first gen in the future them Ventures like company. Orlin

It is home and yes it is a 2000 he had it listed as a 2001 no matter I am happy and so is Sharon, we got to go for about a hour ride, I will be keeping this bike for along time. Orlin

If all goes well I will be going to pickup my new to me bike tomarrow or Thursday, Its a 2001 Red on Red, We went over last Friday and took it out for a ride and that was all it took, I am going to miss my first gens I have spent alot of time on them and sure am going to hate to see them go but this second gen sure fits me nice and Sharon gave it the thumbs up and thats what matters, the only thing she said is she gets more wind being up higher but she is able to see more than the back of my head. I have been looking at all of the bling you can get for these, but the rest of this riding season will be getting the bugs worked out if it has any and just enjoy the new ride. I will get some pics put up as soon as its home and I get it all cleaned up. Orlin

Andrew There are a few that are meeting here on Sunday, not sure of what time we are heading out if the time works out we should meet up. Orlin

What do you look for to resolder, never had one of these apart untill last night, All looked good except there are three cooper looking coils and one of those isnt as clean as the other two. Is there away to check the CMU to make sure that it is what the problem is. Orlin

This is my 87, sorry I didnt put that on here, I checked for current going down to the foot brake switch and I dont have any in the yellow wire the other two have current, I jumped the yellow and black wire and the blue and white wire on the back of the CMU and got brake light but it stays on, Is there a way to by pass the CMU to get the brake light to work untill I can get this one fixed or a new one. Orlin

I have no tail light, I put in a inline fuse for the signal fuse to check to see if my other problem was solved before I went threw putting in the new fuse block. Now everything works but the brake light using the foot or hand brake, The bulbs are good, is there a fuse just for the brake light or a relay, I checked the conections under the seat and the ones that I could find. Orlin

I found the problerm:cool10: it was the wire for the signal coming out of the fuze box, I had power to the box but no power coming out Of course I didnt find it untill I removed the farring but now all of my connections are clean and as long as I am at it I am goint to do the fuze block up grade. Orlin

Its a 87 Venture, Runs good, starts good, whats not working no turn signals, no brake light, no tack, no volt meter and the I get nothing to read out on the screen no warning lights nothing. Now here comes the part of:confused24::confused24: If you put it in gear with the kick stand down the tack works and it will go threw the system check and not shut off, but still no turn signals, brake lights or volt meter. And if you take it out if gear the screen shows nothing on it and no tack. All of the fuzes are good tryed a diffrent interment pannel that I know is good tryed the one that was in it on the other bike and its is good. Switched relays around. Also tryed a diffrent TCI no luck, Orlin
