Some people are reading why to much into this. We are talking about expanding one event, by inviting a small group of riders to a local event for the purpose of helping that group to evolve into their own. And also to help Pioneer with the cost that is involved with an ever expanding event. This has very little to do with Ventureriders as a whole. No one is suggesting letting another group merge with VR. Although we do seem to have an open invitation to anyone regardless what they ride. I mean, we have all, time after time told newbe's and VR veteran's it don't matter what you ride, it's about the ride not the bike. So please do not make more out of this then what it is.

Idle adjustment is a small black knob on right side behind rear carb tucked up under the tank. Looks like a big Phillips head screw. If you have chrome carb covers it is at the rear of the right over.

You do not have a separate reserve tank. It is all one tank. the petcock valve has a high suction and a low suction. When it is in the on position it is taking a suction on the high suction tube. When the engine starts to sputter the fuel level is below the high tube. When you shift the petcock to reserve, you are taking suction on the low tube near the bottom of the tank. this will give you about 1 gal. of gas to get you to a gas station.
