  3. Well, if all the stars align in our favor we will close on the sale of our house on the 15th and then on the 7th of November close on the purchase of our new to us home in Pickens county South Carolina, not far from Table Rock state park.

Your prayers, good thoughts or words of wisdom are more than welcome.

  4. Good for you and I don't know what my son is going to do with this place when I die, there is so much stuff.

Going to throw out the invite to north east Tennessee. We are surrounded by mountains and have many great lakes, rivers, camping and within about an hour of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also have no state income tax.

Thanks for that tid bit, but how do they treat pensions and Investment payouts?

  5. Hey y'all I'm still alive, just beèn consumed with trying to make a change of address. After two years of prep we listed the house for sale last week, less than 24 hours on the market we had a solid offer that we accepted. Yes it was a shock that it sold in less than a day! THE bigger shock is that they wanted to close in 23 days ! We have been scrambling to get this place cleaned out, those that have been here know that's no small task. 14 hour days of packing, selling and tossing.

The plan is to vacate, get in the Motorhome and spend the winter in Florida then find a home somewhere in N.W. south Carolina or Eastern Tennessee. So we hope to not be AWOL from many for MD's, rides or rallies for mùch longer.

To tell you the truth, I'm too frigin old to do all this packing and moving, it sucks! We are looking forward to a less cluttered life in a slower paced location.

Hope to see everyone again soòn.

  6. Leo, I have pictures of a CarbonOne aux tank while it was being built, Jeannies trike was the R&D trike used to design the tanks Larry built. I worked with him during the development phase. Jeannies tank holds 7.5 gallons and does not leak or smell. 13.5 gallons total capacity! The tanks Larry sold to the public were Shrunk a bit to make the production tank kits easier to build and install.

I don't know the Hannigan design but Larry's tanks have internal baffles and the vent line fitting is installed in the top of the tank so fuel slosh does not fill the vent line. The hose rises before turning down and exiting near the rear axle.

Leo, if you want to see some pictures I will post them.

  7. My wife and I would also like to offer our home for anyone traveling to Bob's funeral. We have a guest bedroom in our home with a queen bed and plenty of room for a RV or camper in our driveway, or a tent in our fenced in rear yard. You can come early and then attend the Rally in Arcade. We will be attending the funeral on Tuesday and then returning home to prepare to leave Thursday morning for the Rally.

We are located about one and a half hours east of the Funeral home in Hamburg NY, in the western suburbs of Rochester, NY.

You can PM me or text or call my cell to contact me: 585-747-7998.

    Jim Crane

That's a very generous offer Jim. I sadly am unable to attend our friends service due to my employer school starting classes today, 2 weeks early this year. If you attend , please carry me along in your vest pocket and if you would , please extend Jeannies and my heartfelt condolences to Becky and all if Bob's family.

  8. When we are on the trike, we are almost always 2 up and towing, with the cargo trailer we average 25-27 MPG, with the camper in tow 20-25 MPG. NO tow 29-32 MPG. We for the most part follow the speed limits. I've found that if you short shift it your fuel mileage will suffer.

  9. First off, I have to apologise to Don and Eileen for not showing up, I owe you for the meal I missed.

With our preparing our selves and the house for sale, I totally forgot about MD until Friday evening when I saw Rodneys post about being broke down , at that point it was too late to dig out the camper for setup at Pond Monster campground. Would have took 2 days to find the camper buried under all the moving boxes.

Looks like everyone had a great time in spite of the weather . I Hope to have found a home by the time next MD rolls around.

My body was here at home but my head was in Oberlin all weekend.
