Looks like those will take you on some cool unexplored trails. How well do they climb the slopes on those sandy two tracks?

I have had a front rubber valve stem fail while on the highway, it cracked around the circumference just above the rim. I was lucky in that it started leaking slow enough that i was able to slow down and get to the shoulder before a major deflation occurred. The bike started handling like I was riding on marbles or ice! I knew something wasn't right as soon as the handling changed.
I will now only use steel one piece valve stems and check the compression nut often.

So, what conclusion did they come to? That you are the boss?

Don't know what is taking so long ! Carbon One and I did both our bikes valves in about 6.5 hours and we didnt have a tanker of coffee. Probably just the difference between USA time and that metric Canadian time,,, yep, thats gotta be it!

Since you are that far in, take voltage readings from all 3 legs of the stator (white wires). I don't recall the voltage of each leg , but you can find that info in the read only tech section.

Thats been the exact game plan all along Raggie BUT,, and it is a HUGE BUT,, all persons named on the trust (including myself) MUST be finger printed and thats the rub..
There has to be a medical exemption in the law somewhere. It's not like they can't get any prints. Have you checked with BATF about your situation, they may have info you are not aware of.

Get with a lawyer and form a Trust. Move all the firearms into it, then have the trust purchase and register the suppression devices.

Have a good time there. I'll be a little south of there in Arcadia , I'm gonna do my part and slay some wild hogs 🐗🐷🐖 in the Orange groves.

Happy Birthday Boss, have a wonderful day.

Or you can do as I did and install a set of Sonic straight rate springs and never have to put air in your forks again.

Playing in the snow got as old as I did. Was fun when we had snowmobiles, sold them so we now have no use for snow.

Y'all are making me jealous! We're having to suffer through a sunny 80°s for the next week. May have to take the rain gear for 1 or 2 days 😢

I have some very tragic news. This popped up on my FB feed just now, Kevin M. Campbell (Prairie Hammer), passed away yesterday.. His knowledge of these bikes is legendary. He gave so freely of his time and expertise to help so many of us with our Venture issues.
God Rest His Soul and may he rest in peace.
If you would like to leave condolences that his family will see, please visit his facebook page:

Prayer up for Earl. I'm all to familiar with his plight as I'm screened for this , it's a hereditary issue within our family.

I run a 130 also and it is a great improvement over the 150. In combination with my Darkside rear tire I'm very happy with the handling.

Thanks, I did get another cb and it didn't fix the err message. All thats left would be the controller. I'd try the one off my wife's trike if it weren't such a PIA to swap.

Did the valve shims at 60k miles and found 1 exhaust valve only slightly tight. There was still lots of life left if I'd have left it alone.

I'm at a campground for the next week and service is spotty so if if I don't get right back to you it not because I'm ignoring you.
Thanks again, Jay

Thanks, I'll turn one up somewhere.

My CB was killed by my failed regulator that fed it 18 volts. I use my cb often on Patriot Guard escorts. If you have one laying around please let me know what you want for it.
Thanks, Jay

My preference is the 1st one. I LIKE being able to preview what the thread is about, it's quicker than having to open each thread as the header can sometimes not accurately reflect what it's about. 2nd is ok, 3rd button does nothing for me.

Power plug, DIN cable and antenna is all that's in the box. I've come to the conclusion that my overcurrent event from the failed R/R fried the cb unit. Anyone have a cb unit to sell?

This software does not recommend TapaTalk due to security and many other issues. They do not officially support it. That being said, TapaTalk tells me that they are developing a plug-in that will enable it to work but say that it's 2 to 3 weeks out.
This forum actually scales automatically and appears to work very well on phones without TapaTalk. Have any of you tried it. It seems very good to me.
I am using the forum on my cell phone now and this new forum software does scale better than V bulletin did. Tapatalk was just a convenient way to check all the forums I follow in one place.
No problem for me to just keep coming here from my browser.
Thanks for all you do Don.
USPS Package Delivery Priority

More info
Priority mail has no delivery guarantee, its only an estimated delivery time. If you want guaranteed overnight, 1 or 2 day delivery it needs to be sent "Express mail" at an increased cost. I was told this by a friend that works for USPS. I ordered so.e bike parts from a business in Georgia 120 miles from my house in South Carolina, it took 2 1/2 weeks for the USPS TO DELIVER!
