  1. Priority mail has no delivery guarantee,  its only an estimated delivery time. If you want guaranteed overnight,  1 or 2 day delivery it needs to be sent "Express mail" at an increased cost. I was told this by a friend that works for USPS.  I ordered so.e bike parts from a business in Georgia 120 miles from my house in South Carolina,  it took 2 1/2 weeks for the USPS TO DELIVER!

  2. I have had a front rubber valve stem fail while on the highway,  it cracked around the circumference just above the rim. I was lucky in that it started leaking slow enough that i was able to slow down and get to the shoulder before a major deflation occurred.  The bike started handling like I was riding on marbles or ice! I knew something wasn't right as soon as the handling changed.

I will now only use steel one piece valve stems and check the compression nut often.

  3. Don't know what is taking so long ! Carbon One and I did both our bikes valves in about 6.5 hours and we didnt have a tanker of coffee.  Probably just the difference between USA time and that metric Canadian time,,, yep, thats gotta be it!

Thats been the exact game plan all along Raggie BUT,, and it is a HUGE BUT,, all persons named on the trust (including myself) MUST be finger printed and thats the rub..

There has to be a medical exemption in the law somewhere. It's not like they can't get any prints. Have you checked with BATF about your situation, they may have info you are not aware of.

  5. I have some very tragic news.  This popped up on my FB feed just now, Kevin M. Campbell (Prairie Hammer), passed away yesterday..  His knowledge of these bikes is legendary.  He gave so freely of his time and expertise to help so many of us with our Venture issues.

God Rest His Soul and may he rest in peace.

If you would like to leave condolences that his family will see, please visit his facebook page:

  6. Thanks, I did get another cb and it didn't fix the err message. All thats left would be the controller.  I'd try the one off my wife's trike if it weren't such a PIA to swap.

  7. My CB was killed by my failed regulator that fed it 18 volts. I use my cb often on Patriot Guard escorts.  If you have one laying around please let me know what you want for it.

    Thanks, Jay

  8. My preference is the 1st one. I LIKE being able to preview what the thread is about, it's quicker than having to open each thread as the header can sometimes not accurately reflect what it's about.  2nd is ok, 3rd button does nothing for me.

This software does not recommend TapaTalk due to security and many other issues.  They do not officially support it.  That being said, TapaTalk tells me that they are developing a plug-in that will enable it to work but say that it's 2 to 3 weeks out.

This forum actually scales automatically and appears to work very well on phones without TapaTalk.  Have any of you tried it.  It seems very good to me.

I am using the forum on my cell phone now and this new forum software does scale better than V bulletin did. Tapatalk was just a convenient way to check all the forums I follow in one place.

No problem for me to just keep coming here from my browser.

Thanks for all you do Don.
