  2. My '01 was sagging and diving upon brake application, it also always wanted to track to the outside of any sharp curve. The following cured all of this.

Another option is Sonic Springs. They are a straight rate spring, I installed the 1.2 rate springs, along with going to 15W fork oil, new bushings and seals. Made for a much better handling bike. :happy34:

  3. He was talking about this strange American he met while riding in the north of America. He goes on to say He met a fellow that goes by the name "CowPuc", a strange sort of biker that tells TALL tales of adventure riding in north america, Puc was a lucky man to have such a lovely lady as his riding companion, and was sure she'd been kidnapped by the crazy man. he then goes on to talk about his ride and a few places he'd been.

    :thumbsup2:

  5. Very nice! Is it a diesel pusher?

We've been toying with the idea of trading our 5th wheel in for a class A but what we're looking for in features and what's available kinda puts us out of the budget ... WAYYY out! LOL

Yes it is. Cummins 350 ISC. The coach is a 2002 Newmar Dutch Star 4097. We looked at probably 30 coaches before buying this low miles, gently used motorhome. Spent it's life stored in a climate controlled garage when not on the road. We looked at much newer ones that were not this clean. Barely any rust on the chassis or in the engine bay. The interior looks almost new.

We considered going the 5th wheel route but it would have taken a much more $ to buy a truck & trailer. Plus we'd have had to buy a toy hauler to bring the bikes along, or pull a triple. The only toyhauler floor plans we liked were WAY out of our budget. Future plan is to pull an enclosed trailer with a 2 seater convertible and 1 bike.

:rotf:,, Raggy,,, :rotf:,,, I showed those pics of your new coach to Tippy,, after a moment of :scared: and :clap2::thumbsup2::dancefool: she did a double take and said,, "wait a minute here,, Jay and Jeannie are the ones that bought that motorcycle tent camper from us aren't they?" = "why yes honey,, they are" = "if I would have known THAT was inside that little trailer I would have never agreed to selling it [emoji23]"

Imagine my surprise when I found that thing in the map pocket!

Don't worry Tippy, I'll still give your camper some luvin too! There's time for both

  8. Wow!!!! that sure looks real nice.

Kind of narrow though down the center isle I think, and what use are those air-horns, do you have enough air to run them (I think Puc might, but you?) And what's with all the air-conditioners, you planning on having hot stuff in there? and what are we going to do for Maintenance Day, where you gonna park? you not going to SNEAK into Canada with that eh? you gonna be days crossing the border with all that length for them to check out.

    Oh well. It'll work somehow.

    ENJOY!!!

I look forward to the first border crossing, at least I'll have a place to sleep while they do their thing. There is sure to be a whole lot of shinanagans occuring in that center isle!

  10. Picked up this gem a few days ago.

It's a 2002 Newmar Dutch Star . Turned 44k miles on the ride home. Cleaner than a 4 year old car! If anyone has unused rv supplies such a 50A shore power cord, surge protector, rv gps let's talk.

  12. Not your fault Leo, no worries. I just wanted to let others not to expect the S5. Ordered it Friday and it was at my door this afternoon.

Just got back from a test ride and it's a big improvement over the HID. I still need to tweek the adjustments, beam is a bit high on the left so I need to pull the bulb and clock it a little CCW. I think once it's dialed in it will be a nice upgrade. Hope it lasts.

Heres a few pic, tried to show clearance of fan. Plenty room.9cac548f0009e203fd7cef6b5ac6bcda.jpg1e4a23661ad1f55816d00e285eb66919.jpgabb50a53270af8f97c302dfc6917274e.jpg

  13. The LED headlights came today, I ordered them from Searchwellness.com link that Leo posted. They advertised the Broview S5 as in stock. Today the package arrived and it is the S7, not the advertised S5. So if you are wanting the S5 Do Not order from them.

Since I have tĺphese I'm going to try it out, I'll let everyone know how it fits and works. Here is what it looks like.

  14. I have these and really like them.

I'd have gone that route except I did not want to have to cut up the stock headlamp assembly. I bought and installed the Xprite LED passing lamps and am waiting on delivery of the Broview S5 LED bulb.

I installed the Xprite's last night , I had to grind about 3/16" off the yamaha passing lamp edge to get enough of the trim ring to grip the Yamaha passing lamp bucket. The Xprite bezel was just a bit to thick with the Yamaha light visor to get the trime ring past the emboss on the light bucket. I am happy with the increased light output. Had to make 3 adjustments to the aim and may do it again.

Could Yamaha have made it any more difficult to adjust the passing lamps
