  1. A buddy I ride with alot has one , good running bikes but they have a small fuel tank and sound like a John Deere farm tractor . It won't beat a 2nd gen in a race but it comes close. He has had zero trouble with it in the 8 years he's owned it.
  2. I know where one is but it'll have to wait till I have a front wheel on the scoot. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04/18/15db4cb5153cb42d9d081b8b5cf29211.jpg
  3. Told ya to take that cast iron skillet away from the warden. If you do cage it, you'll have plenty room for Tent poles
  4. THANKS Puc Short of riding off a mountain side, it's hard not to have a good time out there
  5. When I was there in 09 mid September it was near 100*. Went back in 10 end of July we got snowed on while riding thru Yellowstone . You never know what you're in for, so I pack for any type of weather when out there.
  6. Also check your cabin air filer, it may be time for a change.
  7. I'll be there but you gotta talk to them border guards, I don't want a repeat of last year I think when I went through after our buddy Sleepy, he sic'd the guards on me
  8. First leg polished up. Next comes re-assembly. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04/17/d1168259f2de77e61700bbee0e1567f1.jpg
  9. The Goldwing racks are pretty much useless because of the way they are shaped with that high rise in the center. Makes it impossible to lay anything flat on the rack. Excellent advice above on installation.
  10. OK,, I have the first fork leg on the bench & disassembled. Looking at the lower leg it is dull and lightly pitted from years of road debris hit it, whats the best way to clean them up without spending countless hours on each one? Anyoe have a set of chrome lower fork legs for sale? http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04/16/8d45b615c34a6509f3011bdaa5ad6994.jpg
  11. Unless something changes, not this year. But don't worry, you're not gonna get off that easy cuz I will be at the WNY party. Greaser shoe's, slicked back hair and all.

  14. The one on the left looked just like my good buddies girlfriend, the one on the right was her twin sister.
  15. Nice shot. 👍
  16. I've been there twice, once in 09' and again in 10' We are delivering my buddy's bike to a mutual friends house in Roberts, Mt he is going to leave it there so he doesn't have to rent. When he goes there. We are trailering to Mt. Because he doesn't want to ride the 1978 Honda 750 hotrod 1800 miles, can't say I blame him, it's not a very comfortable bike for LD riding.
  17. I'll be in Montana during the week of July 4th. We'll be riding Beartooth, Chief Joseph and more. If you're going to be in the area and want to join us, drop me a PM or post it here.
  18. I have tried several different films that claimed to stop the sun from washing out the gps screen, none of them have done the job to my satisfaction. I now have a metal shade around the gps that Carbon One bent up for me, is it perfect, no, but does a great job till the sun is low and behind me. If you do find a film that actually works, I'd like to hear about it.
  19. Mafia

  21. Sh*t happens,,, bet you won't make that mistake again.
  22. Yes they do. I saw one at their Showroom and it was a very nicely done conversion.
  23. Had them for the last bike and hated them. I found them uncomfortable and darn near impossible to keep on the seat without sliding around. YMMV...
  24. Thought you had a buyer?
