  1. Always sad to hear of a fellow rider that is gone but know that alot of hearts are with the family now. May he ride in peace.
  2. You will never find a better group of people! Welcome & hope to meet you at one of the amazing functions that this group holds.
  3. By Here I mean 2 places - the people on this site - Particularly Big Tom & Pioneer Motorsports. I had a dream to get my husband a Spyder for Valentines Day without him knowing (only as a last resort - we LOVE the Venture but he can no longer drive one). I toss the whole crazy scheme to Big Tom & get a simple reply - "call Chad" - head spins but I pick up the phone. Not only did Big Tom set me up - Pioneer gave me the royal treatment! I have never had such an easy time to make a dream come true! My true & heartfelt thanks go out to all of you. The Venture riders are truly a rare breed that I wish the world had many more of. Thank you!
  4. I love this time of year! We only exchange homemade food & gifts (the balls were made & given to me by my mom last year) and the big celebration is all getting together for a simple meal and lots of good friendship. We went small on the tree because our son has taken over the meeting place for the first time as of this year. Sooo relaxing & fun - gives us more time to travel Merry Christmas All!
  5. I am thankful that I have one of those hubby's that doesn't go faster than I feel comfortable - might be because I like the speed too:) As for the trailer & such... we have one - just never seems to be hooked up during garage sale season. We do however, get groceries with it. Got some beer & eggs one week & took the "scenic" route home. Not a good day! lol You must go slower with food in the trailer:8:
  6. We post all trip adventures on our own album. I hope this link works. We had a great time! http://picasaweb.google.com/life31.travel/WnyMeet# Sorry that some of them are blurry:) Wonderful People! Thanks to Big Tom & everyone else that made this event a reality.
  7. Mike & I are in - he gets to choose the route though since he is the one that drives. I don't care where we end up as long as we get to ride:) Get well Freebird!
  8. Hey Freebird - I found another site with with a similar setup with horses. It is also a php-nuke site & knowing that you are a master of coding I figure it should be easy for you to adapt. Here is the link: http://www.horsescapes.com/modules.php?name=News&file=categories&op=newindex&catid= Have fun!
  9. The subscription amount is exactly what I was thinking about. I was figuring that everyone that enjoys coffee spends an average of $2.00 a cup without even thinking about it. And how many cups of coffee do each of us drink sitting in front of this computer??? Well worth the cost!
  10. Thanks Don for all of the work that you do for the site. This site is a full time job in its self but I know that it is a labor of love for you. I was wondering if you would please add a subscription payment option to your donations page. I know that you want to keep the site free but I am sure that there are many of us that would choose to pitch in a few bucks a month to help defer the costs. Servers are not cheap - I know! please save us from having to go to that page each month just to make sure that this site can continue to grow (we will if we need to though).
