  1. Also, Hannigan will not sell to the public. They want there products installed by techs they train, but they stand behind their product 100%. There is no company with better customer service.
  2. You can do without reverse if your carefull how you park. I have the boards and reverse. I can back up with out reverse if I'm on level ground. If you pull in front wheel up hill it coast backwards easy. The boards make it hard to to reach the ground to push yourself backwards. There have been a hand full of times I was glad I got the reverse but I could have done without. In the end, no you dont NEED either one but I'm glad I got both. I do highly recomend the aux. fuel tank.
  3. Some of us still have to work. We'll be headed that way around 14:00 Friday. Shirley and I will be staying at the Seasons Inn Friday and Saturday night.
  4. My installer charged me exactly what it says on the web site less $500 for being a vet.
  5. When I decided to go to three wheels I went to the local Hannigan installer and he let me ride a couple of trikes he had there so I could be sure I wanted to go to a trike. Both were wings. I put about 50 miles on each. That was enough to convince me I was ready for a trike but it sure wasn't going to be a wing. Gawd those things are uncomfortable. Had him do the conversion on my 09-S and have to agree with you. The RSV just may be the perfect platform for a trike. Congrats on the new trike. Shes beautiful.
  6. Thanks for the reminder. We have 3 that need refilling.
  7. On your bike? Sure. I'd be afraid of sinking mine.
  8. I havent had poisen ivy since I was a young boy but remember it well. I steer waaaaayyyy clear of that stuff. The first thing that came to mind when I read the title was........... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CB8Q3ywwAGoVChMI9-jRgdKCxwIVhCoeCh1PGQKz&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DZRfRITVdz4k&ei=p_u5Vbf5LYTVeM-yiJgL&usg=AFQjCNGPAarOD8UYSqWeT5EELXUxewA5dw&sig2=f8B5gto6PXnr5eNB1dK1zA
  9. What!!!!??? No Beer? Fugitaboutit. I aint coming if threre aint no beer. Can't come this weekend anyway. Doc says Shirley cant ride for another week. Think I'll just stay here and drink.
  10. "Backfiring when throttle down - Carbs recently rebuilt, 3 tanks Premium gas with cleaner, still does it - is this normal?" These engines a designed to run on regular. I don't know if premium will make it backfire or not, but your not doing yourself any favors either.
  11. If a Harley is what you want, Hannigan makes a conversion for them too. http://www.hannigantrikes.com/products/harley-davidson-flh-hannigan-transformer/ Personally, I'd choose that over the TG. If you cant tell, I'm very impressed with Hannigan.
  12. I have never rode a TG so I can't confirm that the RSV/Hannigan is a better ride but can say the RSV/Hannigan is a VERY good ride and very stable. It handles the twisties like it's on rails. I have had a lot of cruisers give up chasing me through the mtns and I wasn't even trying hard. I did lift the right rear one day on a 90* turn. I was actually trying to raise it and it took some effort. This thing is an absolute blast to ride.
  13. Y uh huh! Fastest tricycle I ever rode. We're loving this thing.
  14. Not to mention, the sting from a honey bee is a lot more painful than the sting from an earth worm.
  15. If you were closer you could ride mine. I love this thing. If you liked the Harley I have no doubt you'll love the RSV with a Hannigan conversion.
  16. Yep! And when you get off, you can throw it in the tour pack or saddle bag. They dry rather quickly if they do get wet too.
  17. Sheep skins don't have to be big and funky. Alaska leather, and I'm sure other manufacturers, custom make them for different seats. That coupled with moisture wicking underwear keeps monkey but away here in the hot humid south.
  18. So my 50+ years on two wheels is negated by my need to move to 3 wheels, and I therefore no longer meet your definition as a rider? Just make sure you don't accept any help from any of us who are not worthy of your approval. Wave or don't wave. It makes no differance. But to exclude someone because they don't ride like you IS being a jerk. Me? I wave at everyone. Kids, Harleys, Spiders, Sportbikes, Cops, etc. Most wave, some don't.
  19. As far a lables, I just use round Avery lables. I put the name of the beer and the date bottled on the lable and put the lable on the cap. You print them with your computr and printer.
  20. You must have a big back yard!
  21. I've been brewing for about 4 years now. I love IPA's so thats what I make. I would suggest you wait more like 2 weeks before moving your beer to secondary fermentor to make sure fermentation is finished. Make sure fermentation is done by taking several gravity readings over several days. The seconday is just for clearing up the beer, not finish fermenting. Many say moving the beer to a secondary fermentor is not nessasary. I move mine. Feel free to contact me with any questions. More than you ever wanted to know about home brewing here. http://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum.php Most importantly DWHAHB. "Dont Worry Have A Home Brew"
  22. I believe it was 1975 that the feds made them change. Maybe 74.
  23. Thanks Lewis. We just regesterd. We'll be there Friday around 3 or 4.
