I considered this route before comiting to a trike but couldn't find one for the venture. Just wing's and Harleys. Used to see a guy the was a double ampute at one of the local bike nights that had one on his wing. He'd swing in the lot, the wheels whould come down, he'd park then slide his wheel chair off the back. Really impressive.

Catch me some time when I have everything parked for the night. I brew my own. Most come in around 8.5% ABV The last time I crashed a bike, beer was involved. Hard learned lessons are lessons learnd well.

We made it home safe yesterday afternoon. Back at the salt mine this morning. We had a great time as usual. Thanks to etcswjoe and TDunc for the carb sinc. I didn't realize how bad the bike was running. Good to see the guys I already knew and put some faces to some others.

Thems my kinda roads. We'll be headed that way about this time tomorrow.

I think I'll ride up there Thursday and see.

I confused myself. The last disk you install is a friction disk, not a steel disk, correct?

I feel your pain. It seems like 2 months since I orderd mine but it's only been 2 weeks. I feel like a 6 year old waiting on Christmas. The days are crawling by.

I just orderd Skydocks clutch spring upgrade to beef up the clutch in preparation for the trike. My clutch is not slipping. Do you think I should get new friction plates as well? Thanks!

Your right, not "MY" choice of bikes. However. I know guys that think the venture is a tank. 2 wheels (or three) is all that matters. Good looking bike. Hope I get to ride with you some day.

Coach Rice wants one of my saddle bags for color match on 8/4 and he will take delivery of my kit on 8/18. He should be done with the install by 8/23 or early the next week. So no, no triking in Asheville. In fact I'll be kinda naked without bags. So far I'm really impressed with Coach Rice and Hannigan. You'd think I was their only customer. Hannigan gave me a welcome over on trike talk and let me know they had my order before Coach Rice could get back in touch with me.

And awaaaaay we go! Financing done and the kit is ordered. Coach Rice is gona let me know tomorrow when it will be delivered. No turning back now.

Reminds me of the Army when someons time to get out was getting near you would hear them shout "SHORT" and announce the number of days left. Almost all ways someone else would shout "SHORTER' and announce their remaing time. Allways got the guys with years left grumbling.
