  1. You're welcome Woody. We enjoyed our selves too. Sorry we had to leave so early, there is so much more to see. Did you get to ride the other loop we told you about? Looking forward to next time.
  2. There is a lodge at Unicoi state park and a few motels in Helen. There are cabin rentals in the area too.
  3. Got it.
  4. Shirley asked me last night if Y'all we coming. Maybe next time. Woody, We'll leave home about 8. We should be there around 9...............ish. I don't know the camp ground but you'll love the area.
  5. What time do you want to get started Friday? Have you ever rode in this area? We have some real gems.
  6. Yea, number is good. We're about an hour south of that area so say 9 or 10
  7. Friday or Sunday works for us. We actually would prefer Friday. There seems to be fewer sight seers and the traffic moves better than on the weekend. But either one is good.
  8. Do you know which day/days you want to ride? I have to get the ducks all lined up.
  9. Lots of great riding in the area. We may be able to give you a guided tour.
  10. :shock3:"The idea is to start making the helmets and sell a basic version for $1500 to $2000.":shock3: No thanks.
  11. Didja copyright it? You just may owe them.
  12. My sister hit a deer so my brother in law bought her an electronic deer thingy, I don't know if it's the same one you posted, but she's only hit two more with it on her car. I'd keep that money in my pocket or buy chrome.
  13. I've pulled my Aluma many thousands of trouble free miles. I grease the wheel bearings every few thousand miles. I broke one of the plastic hub caps while removing it from the shed. I called Aluma to purchase a replacement, They sent me 2 as well as the metal part that bolts to the wheel, free. Great cust. service.
  14. https://www.kisantech.com/index.php?cat_id=2 The RSV has an H4 bulb. Modulating headlights are legal in ALL 50 states.
  15. Me too. Congrats either way.
  16. I'm not really qualified to answer this as just have a fairly basic unit from Garmin. I think the Garmin Zumos and some of the others will do just about anything you want such as Bluetooth, MP3's etc.
  17. You were all around the Blue Ridge Parkway. Looks like you were trying to avoid it. I love the parkway and most of the roads leading to and from it. Post 2 depends on your GPS. Some let you load a route, others don't.
  18. There is a new very important government study on just how intelligent crows are. The state of California found about 200 dead crows on its highways, and there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu. They had a Bird Pathologist examined the remains of all the crows, and he confirmed the problem was definitely NOT Avian Flu, to everyone's relief. However, he determined that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with trucks, and only 2% were killed by car impact. The State of California then hired an Ornithological Behaviorist to determine the disproportionate percentages for truck versus car kill. The Ornithological Behaviorist determined the cause in short order. When crows eat road kill, they always set-up a look-out Crow in a nearby tree to warn of impending danger. His conclusion was that the lookout crow could say "Cah," but he could not say "Truck."
  19. Well, since the battery was only reading 9.5 volts I knew I needed a new battery anyway. So I bought one and installed it. Viola, I'm back on the road. Still cant believe NOTHING worked with a low battery. A special thanks to Eck for the call and the tutorial and link on the switch bypass. I'll be doing that by weeks end. Thanks to all!
  20. I'm not sure what your telling me. Can you give me a little more detail please? I'm starting to think it may be the battery. I just thought it should at least power the lights or speedo or something, even if it wont crank the bike.
  21. Been there:whistling: One of the first things I checked. Thanks!
  22. I finally found the main fuse. Its OK. All fuses are good. Battery read 9.5 volts. As I said before, the bike was running fine when I parked it. Been sitting about a month. No power at all.
  23. Please tell me where the main fuse is. I cant seem to locate it.
  24. Went to take the bike out Saturday and had no power at all. I thought since the bike had been sitting for a few weeks the battery was dead. So I pushed it back in the garage and hooked up the battery charger. Checked this morning and the charger indicates the battery is full so I turned on the key and......................nothing. No lights, speedo, horn, fuel pump, NOTHING! It was running fine when I parked it. What do you think? Fuse? Which one? Or something else? TIA.
  25. 2 at this time. I've owned as many as 5 at one time back in my racing days.
