  1. I got my parts from Pioneer Motor Sports Chaffee NY (check website) with a Venturerider discount (I think it is 10%) I talked to Chad Armstrong.(owners son)
  2. @XV1100SE has same bike. He could tell you. Found this in previous post of his. I'm impressed with Performance Cycle! I didn't realize that there was a difference in parts for the 2012/2013 RSV but apparently there are differences. For "up to 2011"... there is sealing rubbers 5EA-1111G-00-00 @ $16.31 that goes over bolt 90109-066F0-00 (didn't ask for price). Cost of the rubber is $16. For 2012/13 there is 5SL-1119E-00-00 (which are bolts with rubbers). The 2012/2013 bolt/rubber is $5.95 but back ordered. I don't know if these parts are interchangeable as no part numbers are listed as replaced by another. Thru Performance Cycle I have ordered : - sealing rubbers # 5EA-1111G-00-00 up to 2011 $16.31 quantity 16 - valve cover gasket # 4NK-11193-00-00 @ $44.71 quantity 2
  3. I'm with Marcarl! I have 2 sets. Work great! Got caught in many rain storms--worst really hard one coming back from Maintenance Day a couple years ago. Rained really heavy most of way home until I got near border to Canada without any wetness.
  4. I usually just open main door and man door on side and let breeze take out fumes. If its winter I wear snow suit until gone then close when done! Mostly do this to keep Phantom happy because she hates opening house door to smell any fumes at all(my garage)
  5. I remember a few times with snow up around hydro pole and city called on anyone with snow mobiles to help out with transporting supplies and people to stores or hospital if needed!
  6. Glad to hear these updates! Hope they get even better!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Yes those are the 16 bolts with rubber seals! On my 2012 they are mounted on the bolt itself but on XV1100SE's 2009 they are separate. Also Don parts are paid and he going to try and ship today!(gaskets and bolts)
  8. We Canadians (well most of us) are like Jayceesfolly have no problem SHARING what we have and receive with others!
  9. E-mailed Chad from Pioneer last week and he contacted me to-day saying to contact him as the last pieces came in. I will call him in morning to pay for them and then he will ship as soon as he can.
  10. Sorry can't because of Covid border closed!
  11. Still thinking of them and wishing for fast recovery!
  12. Have done similar practice when I helped a friend's wife practice to get her license. Got 6 or 8" high orange cones from dollar store which I could pack quite a few in saddle bags with no problem. Did the obstacle figure 8 strait line and stopping exercise. Worked great!
  13. Sorry to hear Phantom Wife and I are hoping for speedy recovery!
  14. Glad to see this update! Take good care of yourself!!!!
  15. Thanks for the news and get her to keep up with the recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also have a great Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. That is good news! Hoping for speedy recovery!
  17. Awesome news!! Have a great recovery!!!!
  18. Phantom Wife and I wish one and all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and happy NEW YEAR!!!!! As saddlebum says--hopefully better than this year.
  19. Phantom Wife and I have you in our thoughts! May everything go as planed and have a great recovery!!
  20. unfortunately no luck with any dealerships locally or out of the area. The ETA on 3 of the bolts is mid-january, so I would just suggest sitting tight on this project for a couple of weeks. I'll let you know when all are here. Thanks Phil and Merry Christmas. Chad Armstrong Pioneer Motorsport Just got this e-mail last night. Hopefully this will work time wise what with lock-down imposed! What you think?
  21. Saw some antifreeze under bike to-day and pulled false cylinder cover off front right and saw water plug was wet. Did the cheap fix in maintenance section by putting dime against plug. Probably from moving bike out of garage 8 or 10 times without totally warming it up enough.Had no problem when I had it out for couple our rides earlier this month. Will double check in couple days.
  22. Also to you---couldn't have said it better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Chad from Pioneer just e-mailed me and said he will check other dealers tomorrow to see if they have any bolts.
  24. Pioneer e-mailed last night while I was working on lawn tractor in garage. Said parts were in except less 3 bolts and he mentioned that they were back ordered(didn't say that when ordered) so he is looking into seeing when and if he can get them.
  25. E-mailed Pioneer this morning to get up=date so will let you know!
