  1. I';m not a Harley fan but that one is Uber cool!!
  2. Ummm, pretty much more than it's worth. Unless you do it yourself 2nd gear is going to set you back $800 or more, and the carbs just about as much and good luck finding someone who knows what they are doing... On the other hand parted out and sold on Fleabay you could eventually double your money...
  3. I'm pretty sure Leo3wheel knows about the trike in question...
  4. I'm thinking that's how I got mine unjammed...
  5. Did you upgrade to a H.O. stator?? If so then it may be putting out more than the R/R can handle. Upgrade to a better R/R...
  6. Hey, they're still fighting the Civil War down there, aren't they?? Don't they still think they won?
  7. My thoughts on that are engaging the gear is what got it stuck in the first place, trying again will most likely make it worse IMHO...
  8. Works for me Eck!!
  9. Garmin is the only GPS manufacturer to make a motorcycle rated GPS, and only the Zumo. They have to be both waterproof and shock/vibration resistant. Any other brand or lesser model Garmin will eventually go bad and need replacing. Yes, I know people, you can always put any GPS in a waterproof case but they still have to be vibration and shock proof...
  10. No wide whitewalls in the E-3 line, strictly blackwall tires. They wear like iron though, unlike the 404's which do come in whitewalls. Although I'm sure to get a lot of arguments here, I do not believe in mixing front and rear tread patterns, and definitely do not believe in mixing radials and bias ply tires!! The Dunlop E-3 has the highest wear numbers, even better than Michelin, but the E-3's can be a little noisier than the second and third best wear numbers Michelin and Continental...
  11. Yup! Mine won't be out for several weeks minimum!! This winter does not want to give it up, and until they stop salting the roads AND we have a couple of good gully washer rains, AND they fix the potholes mine won't go out. I paid a lot of hard earned money for mine and I do not want any salt dust into the cracks and crevices. No, I am not a fanatic and do not wash it every time I ride it, and because of that even more reason to not allow corrosives to get on and in my bike! Just because the roads are dry and bare does not mean there is no salt dust on the roads. Of course, this may very well be the last new bike I ever own, if yours is older and you plan on buying another sometime and don't care about the next person to get your bike, then ride on every time you feel like it, who cares!!!
  12. Try moving the swing arm up and down while trying to yank it out, it may just help...
  13. I'll look, maybe I still have one...
  14. Yup! You got the driveshaft wedged real good against the u joint...
  15. You will get used to that...
  16. If you take the rubber boot off out of your way at the front U joint you can see what is happening better. If you look on the swingarm there is a hole you can stick something in there to help guide things together...
  17. Sorry people, for some reason I had a brain fart and thought he had a MK1... My bad!
  18. bongobobny

    Why?

Because the wife want's to go to a stupid crap...err...craft show today, that's why! Maybe I can power my way out the driveway...

    Why?

WHY should I go out and snowblow the driveway when it's going to be 50 degrees tomorrow???
  20. Oh?? We have a new ride??
  21. OK you had the driveshaft out etc, so my initial feelings are you only THOUGHT you had the driveshaft in correctly! Been there, done that...
  22. 23. Yes it will! You have less sidewall height so they will not flex as far!
