It's a 2nd gen or RSV as we like to call it here. Is it the midnight color or the raspberry and tan?

Allen, It shows in your profile that you have a 2003 Venture Royale, this is a bit misleading as the year and the model don't coincide. if it's a 2003 it's a Royal Star Venture or a 2nd Gen, if it's prior to 1993 it's a Venture Royale or a 1st Gen. 2 completely different beasts and the braking systems are different. Does your bike look like an 80's Goldwing or a Harley?

It really is a genetic condition isn't it! I haven't started on the FL. Hopefully after I get some of Lonna's honey do's done and get the garage in order, I'll be able to do that. Surprisingly enough I can find certain flavors of Faygo down in Texas....go figure!

Good to be back on Ben, as well as hearing from you. Texas has kept our lives busy. Lonna has her business breeding Quaker parrots and that keeps me plenty busy. Hopefully we can catch up with all our Canadian brothers and sisters soon.

Hey Puc, I'll work at being more frequent around here again. Life is crazy busy right now. The car is a bucket list one, of which I'll never see. It's a 71 Hemi Barracuda convertable. Cant touch one for anything less than a million bucks. Tell Tippy hello and hopefully at some point we'll see y'all again good Lord willing.

2006 was the last big crash. I remember that one as Lonna and I were on our 30 day bike trip. When I finally got cell service back in Cheyenne WY the 1st voicemail message was from Freebird saying, and I quote "Where the hell are you guys!" Lol

Lonna and I are doing well, ever since we moved to Texas life has sped up and gotten a bit more complicated. Don't come on here near as much as I should, but think of all the good brothers and sisters I have met here and still see from time to time.I hope everyone is doing well and that we can get a little break to be able to see folks.

I'm in search of a left side (Kickstand side) clear wind deflector that bolts on to the lower portion of the front fairing. must have all 3 of the attachment tabs and not be extremely scratched up.

As many of you know, I usually have a fall motorcycle maintenance day here at our house here in Cleveland Texas in October annually. I want to let anyone who usually comes to this know that I will not be able to host it this October. The shoulder surgery I had, has put a large snag in being able to host it, as it's going to take me longer than expected to get back to full strength. I wanted to get this out in plenty of time, so that if someone else in SE Texas wanted to host one at their place, they could do so. We'll see how next year plays out and possibly resume it then.

Ok folks, 2 days away from this and I need a head count so I can forewarn Rudy's how many are coming. If you'll take a minute and give me a yay or nay I would appreciate it.
