  1. got some really good advice from you guys, went and bought a set of used roadking mufflers($40 with clamps, and put them on my bike, made brackets from 1/8 "x 1 1/2" steel and they sound great and were easy to put on.sounds great and looks stock:banana: thanks to the guys on this site
  2. any body do stock exhaust mods to make a little more noise ? I put on a set of 4-2-4 nasty boys and they are obnoxous, now I'am the guy everyone glares at, put some stainless steel wool in each one ,buts its bordering on illegal:stirthepot:
  3. if you have a warranty, you better let the dealer rejet and adjust carbs,or it will effect your warranty if you have any problems,I know everyone says you dont need to rejet, but everyones not going to pay,YOU ARE
  4. WOW! I really stirred up a hornets nest with this ,thanks for all the input:soapbox:
  5. did ventures ever have foot pegs ?,if so can an 08 be converted over to pegs ?,yeah I've heard it all, floorboards are he best thing since sliced bread, but I dont like them and want to use pegs:stickpoke:
  6. now that all of you floorboard lovers have commented, and i appreciated them,I still hate those @#$%^&*()_+ floorboards, that being said, now how about some replies as to where I can get some @#$%$#^%&( pegs:thumbsup2:
  7. has any one used foot pegs as oppposed to floor boards ? cant stand floorboards, this the first bike I've ever had with floor boards, did I mention I dont like them:Venture:
  8. talked to barons tech, they say no gaskets needed as pipes fit so tight, also ,no rejet needed, cept thier instructions tell u to have it rejeted
  9. any one using a tach ? if so what kind ?
  10. am a proud new venture owner, love it,wanted more noise, bought 4 into 2 into 2 into 4, took off stock and tried to put on mufflers, they fit so tight over pipes that there was no room for the stock gaskets, only thing that would work was one layer of fibreglass muffler tape,it sealed up and dosent leak, emailed barrons ,have got an answer back yet,has anyone else had this issue ? ps, love new sound
