  1. Ok, some thoughts and alternatives may be drinking some Valerian root tea at night and maybe a little Kava Kava. Also, some regular acupuncture could not hurt. Erv and I are firm believers in accupuncture. It has done some pretty miraculous things for me and he will sing its praises too. I know the Kava Kava can be a little hard on the liver if you mix it with alcohol, so I would really look for some Valerian Root tea. It will make you mildy drowsy and allows your sleep rythm to stay in sync, so when you are awakened you can fall back asleep without a lot of time passing. Good luck and we are sorry to hear of the sleep issues. Not sleeping for any reason results in the same thing...tired!
  2. 58 and 39 respectively. The great thing about crs is every thing becomes new again and each day is an adventure. Are these my new shoes? When did we get these curtains? Good thing she is a bit younger as she is able to remind me where to find my tooth brush.
  3. Think some of us are big Harley bashers? You all ought to be watching tonight's South Park.
  4. Received ours today...enjoying a cup of tea still hot after a couple of hours. Thanks, we will enjoy these.
  5. Myself being a former Harley rider, I have seen both sides of this coin. What I appreciate most is the character of the rider. Erv and I have met riders over the last few years from all over the country. The friendliest we have spoken with have been Harley riders. They have not scoffed at our fine motorcycles of the Yamaha persuasion. At Cody, however, we found wonderful friendships and enjoyable experiences. Not everyone there was riding a Yamaha either. It was simply a passion for the experience, and as Blackowl put it, the people. I ride because I love to. I love my bike. I love it that I spend more time riding than I do wrenching. At the same time I want to express enthuasim for the experience, not just the name. So...regardless of what anyone rides, if they are respectful, safe, and find joy in the experience, I say "Let's go!" Roja of Pakidaho
  6. Ponch, It is amazing how fast that happened. I laughed when our local judge told me a friend of his was going to hit Beartooth last weekend. My response was something like "Really?" :rotfl: It was a priceless moment. Thanks for the update! Teri of Pakidaho
  7. Now, don't forget the Run for the Spud Memorial day weekend! too bad there is no dancing potato. Hey Russ, started a new class...hope you got your paper-writing cap on! Teri
  8. Ahhh Grasshopper, You are becoming an ambassador....to chipmunks. (One wonders just who is feeding who, eh Mike?)
  9. Dirt roads? We ain't afraid of no dirt roads! Stu and Marvin...any of this look familiar??? We did run into a fellow from California who said he figures in Montana and Idaho the term road construction really means "sent out for repairs." Teri (Roja of Pakidaho)
  10. Deb, I took these photos with you in mind. This was at the campground we stayed at Friday night after leaving Cody. Brook's Lake was the name of the campground, and seems like bears were an issue there, too! So, the warning is rather self explanatory. The box, however, well, could be for food, but I would prefer to put Erv and I in it to protect us...of course, I don't know if we would both fit, but I bet we would sure try! Hugs at you!
